View Full Version : Beth Dito Brands Katy Perry a "Boner Dyke"
Beth Ditto graces the cover of the new issue of Attitude magazine and inside, the singer has a few bones to pick with Katy perry.
Ditto calls I Kissed A Girl a "boner dyke" anthem for "straight girls who like to turn guys on by making out or like faking gay".
Beth righteously adds, "I hate Katy Perry! She's offensive to gay culture, I'm so offended. She's just riding on the backs of our culture, without having to pay any of the dues and not being actually lesbian or anything at all. She's on the cover of a ****ing gay magazine."
And Ditto doesn't stop there! She goes on to say that she would like to incite a "band feud" with the singer.
Well, Ditto, we think you've definitely got the ball rolling on that!

I HATE beth ditto with passion, possibly most hated person on my list.
Everything she does just seems to annoy me.
Her campaigning against size zero when shes morbidly obease was the worst though she had more health issues to worry about than they did.
I hope Katy doesn't respond and just makes ditto look stupid. Look like the bigger person well mentally.

Go Beth! Katy Perry annoys me nowadays. Beth Ditto = Infinitely better then Katy Perry. She rocks.

Plus that song that was on skins that time is one if THE most annoying songs ever!
Katy Perry isn't really amazing but she is good and miles better than Beth.

Go away Beth. I am bi myself, and I absoloutely HATE it when gay or bi people take themselves so seriously just because of their sexuality.
I can see her point, but that was one song that Katy promoted in that way; everything else she's released hasn't been branded in that way. I think Beth Ditto's just a bit annoyed because The Gossip are looking set to be a one hit wonder.

To be fair though The Gossip, have had more albums out then Katy and she's been trying to form a music career for years. The Gossip have only had mainstream success with the last album so far but their target audience isn't a mainstream audience.

Beth Ditto...dont get me started on her;
A. She sounds like a cat being strangled
B. She doesnt look remotely attractive (or indeed have something about her that is intresting)
C. She is morbidly obese

KP is a boner dyke, in terms of Ditto's explanation, but who cares? Was there really any need for her to even comment upon it?

Not a slight exaggeration, I had to turn my TV down, and to be honest, I think KP is quite talentless to, so I'm not just slagging Beth Ditto off cause I'm a KP fan, I just think Beth Ditto is annoying, full stop, and sure, looks are crucial to being a singer, but usually even the ugliest singers have something about them, Beth just looks like one of them gals you see in a kebab shop at 2am
