Really P***ed

:mad: I know I'm new to this forum but I'm Really annoyed that they've put the diary room chair in the gallery which is in full display when you enter the site, when it was clearly known that the majority didn't want to see it until launch night!

I know its not the end of the world but there was even a thread about it with almost everyone saying that they don't want to see the chair until the house tour and were resisting looking at it, so why put it up?!

Hi,

Yeah I understand how people are getting annoyed... but as was mentioned before, what do you expect when you come to the biggest bb fansite, 24 hours before launch :shocked:

I don't want to remove them, becuase a lot of people who visit want to see the chair before launch.

I knew that this would happen with members complaining about the picture of the chair. Surely though you would know it was going to be put in the gallery, I mean the house pics were put in there. Most people come here for BB news and would want to see it. I do understand why you're upset though.

Is there anyway you can have it in the gallery but not on the homepage? or you could not of put it in the gallery as im sure if they are coming on the site to find it they will look in the forums if it isn't in the gallery, that will please both people who want to see it and people who don't as it won't be on display.

yes but u can put it on the homepage etc and you dont need the image starin u in the face! like heatworld does you can give the intro of the story and a big ? mark or the eye or something, i know its the biggest site but that doesnt mean it shouldnt try cater to everyone

I see what you're saying, but the house pictures are not showing everything so theres still some mystery about the house but the chair picture shows the chair and leaves nothing for the surprise.

That's OK. I guess I just used myself as an example for looking at spoilers. If I miss an episode of Lost, Apprentice, or 24 for example... the LAST thing I do is go to those fansites before I've caught up.. I wait it out, download and watch and then go.

I (wrongly?) assumed that people who don't like spoilers would avoid fansites in the last 24 hours when they know stuff is likely to be released, and that's why I approved the article.

I didn't place it there but I've removed the pic from the gallery for now. Unfortunately the pics on the front page from the gallery take a few minutes to update.

I didn't say i was not expecting spoilers but just because someone wants to know the spoilers doesn't mean they want to know them all, we can still pick what ones we want to know and which ones we don't but the thing i was aiming at was the fact that there had been numerous threads about who wanted to see the chair before launch and who didn't and the majority didn't, so there could of been a warning like halions said.

yeh it is annoying , especially when its not as god as you thought it was going to be..lol you don't get the same excitment as davina anymore when she goes into the diary room..lol
