From what I've seen so far BB 10 seems more like a foreign programme than an English BB house. Has BB gone politically correct mad? The house is full of non-whites and gays. Whatever ahppened to normal white English people?

Im not racist nor homophobic. Every year there are gay and Bi people anyways so its what i expected and thats great. But the fact that half the housemates are not even british!!!!!!!!! Which bugs me because im not against foreigners living here etc my step mother is polish but it annoys me i want to be able to understand what is being said in the house. And im completely switched off from big brother yet again this year. The 1st big brother was fanbtastic... real people from the real world. Now look at them. OK the original post was not worded too well I admit. My point is that this is British BB and 10 years on the house seems to becoming more extreme. Did the earlier series BB housemates not provide gripping & fun entertainment? I just don't think that this years housemates reflect the British public - which is what I would've liked to have seen. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure. Maybe the show is watched more by the likes of this years chosen housemates than by what I would call the general public. Again this is just my view, and it may sound harsh to some, but I'd liken the house to a freak show.

Great white north is actually an expression used in many countries. I didnt actually mean the north of England.

I'm all for people learning the native language of the country they live in---and every BBUK housemate has done so. So what's the problem here? How much melanin is in their skin? Can I just point out to the people commenting on 'the state of our country', to bear this in mind.

Prior to World War 2, the state of the German economy was blamed, wrongly and unfairly on the Jewish population of Germany.

That ended up in the Holocast.

People need to learn that what they're saying is not only inherently racist, xenophobic, whatever you want to call it, but also wrong.

People of different background make up all rungs of the UK ladder. You cannot blame the 'state'of the country on immigrants. That is simple a scape-goat and in fact the vast majority of immigrants are the hardest workers. Working much harder than the hundreds of thousands of white 'Brits' on the doll. I would far rather see a teenage slut milking the welfare system, by having a baby at 14 and never having to work again in her life, turfed out of the country than a hard-working immigrant.
