TV STAR Davina McCall took time out from her filming schedule and joined new mums and dads for afternoon tea in a maternity unit.
The Big Brother presenter visited St Richard's Hospital in Chichester to celebrate the unit being awarded the Unicef Baby-Friendly Award.
Davina, whose dad Andrew lives in Gosport, has taken a keen interest in children's causes since she became a mother herself.
She chatted with midwives before discussing breast-feeding with the new mums.
The unit was given the award for providing excellent information about breast-feeding.
Midwife Jane Risley said: 'She just came in to see what we are all about.
'Of course, she did not need any introduction. It was fantastic.
'She was a normal person with all the concerns any ordinary mum would have.'
On May 22, Davina will lead a sponsored stroll along the Millennium Walk in Portsmouth in aid of Action Medical Research.
