I know you all have had enough of moaning about BB and stuff, but i just sent this to C4, I am awaiting the reply, i do feel much better after my rant. I tried to make it as patronising as i could :laugh::

I am absoloutley disgusted with the news that the live feed is not being shows. Thank you for killing of BB for good, how can you do this to your most sucessful show?
WE are the people that make YOU rich, we watch your shows and in return we are treated like rubbish. We should have our views accounted for.
You claim that you have not got enough money but that is completely untrue, you maganed to pay thousands of £s for the DR chair.
The real reason why you have axed LF is because Rachel won BB last summer, your negaive editying towards her on the HLs just made LF watchers vote for her. but you dont want that to happen this year, do you?

I don't get the whole Live Feed business. There's still Live Feed on E4 at night? That's really the only time we need it considering the Live Feed during the day is censored for the most part!

but that isn't true, it's only censored about 30% of the time. It's not possible to form an informed opinion on anyone when all we get is a couple of minutes of them every night.

I don't agree with you. I think they have to do the show on the cheap otherwise channel 4 will drop it. It's about money saving, your theory doesn't make sense to me. You think BB didn't wanted Rachel to win but the live feed viewers spoiled their evil plan?

what a complete load of ****. You only have to dip your toe onto here or DS to find that thousands of people watched it and want it back. Anyone who would settle for an over edited, manipulated 40 minute highlights show gets an extremely warped view on the housemates.

There are 42 Big Brothers worldwide. 41 of those have round the clock live feed. Can you guess which is the only one that doesn't?

without the feed it is not big brother - it's just another lame reality show.

The majority of people don't watch it and those who do well most don't care that much so theres no reason for them to bring it back
I would have liked to watch it this morning but I can accept it isn't there and do something else instead of complaining about it over and over again
Watching them 24/7 was the concept of the show but since then it has changed and it is now an entertainment show.
and if the live feed issue is effecting it for anyone then just stop watching.

Last year there was hardly any birdsounds I watched Red button LF every day through summer every minute of the day I was watching It and I Can tell you now there was VERY little bird noises

The ENTIRE PREMISE of Big Brother was that it was a "Revolutionary new reality Television Show which allowed the viewing public to monitor the behaviour and actions of a set number of individuals locked away inside a house around the clock, 24/7."

THIS is what drew people into Big Brother... THIS is what made Big Brother. And believe me there are A LOT MORE than just the "odd couple of thousand people compared to the supposed 3.5+ million who watch it" (as some have said) complaining to CH4, Endemol etc about this and have been each time they've watered down our viewing abilities year by year.

We are the only country not to have a live feed, also remember "You can follow the actions 24/7 and monitor the HMs" i swear thats the kind of motto/sloogan of the show ever since BB1.

I'm happy it's on at night but it'd be even better if it was on in the daytime too, expecially as it's summer soon and no school/college for alot of us. Thanks +k for you too! [I noticed we're supporting basically the same housemates too lool] :laugh:

but we do have LF, for 7 hours a day, in which 5 hours is the main events of the day, and only 2 hours is sleeping or boring sh't.

Umm.... what if the HMs go to sleep before 2am, that would be about 2 hours of LF. And on some days the LF starts at 1:15am, where we wont see much unless there is a nightly task/ or a party.

Yes but its supposed to be 24/7= 24 hours a day every day.... why must we be the only country who doesnt follow the rules and the motto that every single country follow?

I've never been too bothered about the feed. In an series I reckon I'll watch on average an hour of live feed and that's probably overestimating it. I haven't got the patience for it.

what the hell is up with this obsession with live feed. the fact that you want to watch people 24/7 creeps me out. i get an hour a day of the interesting bits but all the god damn time?!

the anger is growing the whole concept of reality tv is that it is shown live unedited and unscripted this is now no longer the case and reduces big brother to just another over produced over edited boring programme.

Yes I respect that it's your personal opinion, no matter how deluded it may sound, but see the points I've emboldened...How are you "disgusted" by the mere fact that the live feed has been cut? And I highly doubt the axing of the live feed has killed BB, in fact, it may have the opposite effect, encouraging viewers to tune in to the 10 PM show to see what happened during the day. Thirdly, C4 are not treating us like rubbish. Face it, they're a business, they're not gonna ask every single BB fan if they want the live feed cut. And I doubt the majority would care for it anyway. And finally, you look forward to seeing the show die? It is already half dead, repetitive formulas and twists have been used for the last 5 years, and the axing of the live feed (which had probably the lowest ratings out of BB show going) will not change that fact. BB has run its course. Nothing to do with the shitty live feed.

Now, all you live feed fanatics. Go out and get lives.
