Channel 4 not putting anything on their website for 5 hours!

This is disgraceful.

They said that by getting rid of live feed they would invest more money into their website, and update it better with more videos.

But there's not been a single update since 5:25pm.

Surely that is pathetic?! Especially for the first full day, it's just terrible.

Sure is, and I wouldn't be surprised if it got less frequent as the series progresses. I mean a stupid 1 minute clip and even having to put up with the stupid sponsor adverts at the beginning, what a waste of time. I don't think I'll be bothering to watch the clips, might as well just wait till the main show. :rolleyes:

I dont bother watching the clips most of the time, as I dont like having to watch all the adverts, I just read the news clips instead... hope we get some more soon!!

And this is where they're justification about web videos falls flat.

I know there are those who still don't see the issue with the live feed being axed, but it's just been impossible to get any news of how things have developed in the house today, and the scraps we have got only remind us that we can't actually see what happened until 36 hours later.

Even BBLB is reluctant to show same day footage - it's all "tune in tomorrow night to find out what happened".


Put the live feed back and allow fans to upload to YouTube and C4 don't need to worry about their website. The fans will spread content much quicker, and much more effectively.

It is pretty ridiculous. the bits I love watching on the live feed is the 'non story' bits, the nattering and them getting to know each other (and us therefore getting to know them in an unbiased way)

It looks like not only will we not be getting any more news posted there than on an average year but we'll certainly miss out on all those little bits as they never post news about trivial stuff.
