Two housemates were kicked out right at the start for lying to Big Brother.

They went into the Big Brother house with the chance of winning $1 million and a car.

But on Tuesday night two housemates left the Gold Coast compound empty-handed for lying.

Constance, a 21-year-old Victorian hairdresser, and Nelson, a 23-year-old assistant manager from Queensland, have become the first two people to be evicted from the show.

They were booted out of the house following a vote by viewers.

They had been put up for eviction nomination along with fellow housemate Dean by Big Brother, after it was revealed they had lied about having partners to scrape through their auditions.

Both knew they were up for eviction but were unaware it was taking place on Tuesday.

Constance left the house happily, blowing kisses to her fellow housemates as she left.

"It's been a crazy week," she said on stage with host Gretel Killeen, where she was reunited with her boyfriend Dan.

"No way ... get my flip-flops," said Nelson, after learning his fate.

He told Killeen that he had only entered the competition to win "goodies and prizes".

"I was hoping to get a free car," Nelson said.

But the only prize he received was being reunited with his girlfriend.

About 35,000 people auditioned to take part in the latest series of the reality television phenomenon.
