Male 'eye-candy' and the lack of it!!

I think that this year's BB is good when it comes to the men, I have seen various posts all over this forum saying that there are no 'fit men' or 'eye candy' this year and I think its a good move by BB, as this way some guys' personalities will be expected rather than just by their looks.

I don't mean to say that some people on this forum just take peoples looks into account but I feel over the last few years some male housemates have done pretty well in BB because they were 'fit' or whatever and its really annoying to see because they don't have much to their personalities! :whistle:

I take your point but if we've got to look at them all through the summer it's good to have some eye candy in there

I think because they are goodlooking alot of males dislike them almost straight away, which puts them as a disadvantage, like stuart and dale last year they did have personalities but were called dull stupid boring no personality etc, and that was really imo based on people not liking them not them having lack of personality.

There should be someone like them this year...

But i have my eye candy in Noirin and Sophie.

I agree with you and I don't think the eye candy is that bad for this year! There are about 3 people who I think are good looking

I agree with you tbh. It stops not only fans but also the housemates themselves relying on their looks to win votes which is good.

My eye candy = Sophie & Beinazir (she has beautiful exotic eyes! & she also seems really fun!)

LOL I agree some sort of eye candy needs to be there but I think its a good move this year, its different and it won't create INSTANT advantages for some people, like some male housemates in the past have become instant odds on favourites because they are hot or whatever and it just seems a bit... WTF?

And with BB's fan base being much more female heavy then it may mean that looks, instead of personalities may win the show for some contestants.

I am not for one minute jealous of anything BTW, I am just clearly just stating that this year's BB male housemates are different and its a good to see! :thumbs:

EDIT: Noirin and Sophie are really pretty, they qualify for my eye candy LOL but usually on BB I tend to really like funny people and they become my favourites! eg. Cairon

not at all. Im straight, but if there was a good lookin bloke on BB, I wouldnt be jealous, id probably support them if they were a fun/good character. :D

I a straight guy, and I liked Stu and Dale last year :\ It's the female viewers that get jealous of good looking women housemates hence why they get constantly booted out.

Im the same, but there is a lot who don't, it was seen last year a lot of striaght males disliked em and that was usually on appearance, because after you dislike like that, most don't tend to really change after the personality comes out and just say bad to their personality.

What eye candy there is you can be sure will soon be voted out by jealous females and males that reject beauty because they stand no chance of getting it for themselves......
