Wrong. Thunder happens as a shockwave of lightning, so thunder is a direct result of lightning - henceforth, it makes noise.

Same. When my school did our GCSE maths exam it was raining really hard for the whole day. It made you feel so tired in the exam. It was nice and toasty in the exam hall too! <3
