It isn't, we'll see tonight how far off 3m the show really is. It can easily gain momentum again (there was a lot before launch killed dead by Thursday night) and paired with the series having actually started now and not a staggered start over a dodgy weekend ..............

What they do need though is a pivotal point like another Fight Night or something like that which will result in ejection/make the news etc to sustain it.

Meh, I don't expect this to be true tbh. The way C4 have treated this whole situation has been disgusting, pathetic and ridiculous.

Why this whole problem couldn't have been sorted in the first place by offering the old internet stream for a fee I have no idea. I think this series I'd be willing to pay to watch online, just because it looks to me as if this series has great potential, and the only thing that's missing is the Live Feed.

That'd sort their stupid 'we don't have the money for it' claims.

At the end of the day though, I don't think they'll budge, and in the end the only people who'll be loosing out are C4 themselves.

Endemol sends friendly replies and they do not lie, C4 just lie all their way through their pathetic generic emails, ive noticed that every week or so, the excuse for LF going is different.

Firstly, shortly after 4pm the first reports that the meeting had been successful were posted on Digital Spy by mrmarky, an insider who has posted reliable information in the past.

Shortly afterwards another two sources who have previously provided reliable information appeared to back up the news that the live “red button” feed would be reinstated, but it would be a few days before it could be put into place.

Separate, unconfirmed, sources suggested that despite the huge number of complaints received over the axing of the live feed, and Endemol’s concern these complaints were from the fans of the show, not the critics, C4 were refusing to re-evaluate their decision, which led to Endemol issuing an ultimatum - reinstate the live feed or we’ll pull the series.

Another unconfirmed rumour is that Endemol left the meeting believing the live feed would be reinstated, but senior bosses at C4 then over-ruled the decision.

A number of people have contacted C4 since the rumours first leaked, and their official line is still that there will be no increase in live coverage and that the red button feed won’t be returning.

However, later this evening more sources from within Endemol have come forward to say the live feed will be reinstated, but it will not be officially announced until everything is in place for it to happen, which will take a few days.

Hopefully they'll pull it sooner rather than later then they'll be able to relaunch it on another channel. If it went before the summer was out and because its not exactly set the UK on fire this year noone really knows and even for us its still a kind of rest from it, so next year they'll be able to put it on ITV or Sky or wherever is interested and I'm sure it would pull in good figures for that channel. ITV aren't doing so well lately so although it wouldn't go down too well with the public as a whole but they have nothing better to show at 9 o'clock for 3 months.

I have to say I am VERY surprised at how much Endemol still love the show too, I thought they were fed up of it and were trying to kill it via production.

Have to agree with Hannah as well, I'm missing it a bit more than I thought I would (despite everything I've said :joker:)

Doubt it, it would probably get figures similar to Hells Kitchen which was inbetween BB8 and 9 apart from the odd night but thats still better than what they get atm and better than what BB is getting atm.

Plus I bet ITV would be more willing to use ITV2, like maybe no highlights on ITV1 on a Saturday type thing ...
