Hover Puck - Review Of The Month
Our in-house gadget reviewer - Stuart Hosking from Big Brother 2 takes time out each month to give his opinion on one of our gadgets. This month it's the Hover Puck......
'Hi everyone and welcome to my first gadget review ... 'The Suspended Frisbee' power puck - This is a great toy and that's exactly what this gadget is, just a toy. For kids it will make an ideal present and for anyone else, it does have a certain novelty value. Charges up really quickly so it can be used almost straight away which is an obvious benefit for the impatient.
The hover puck basically looks like a frisbee but hovers about 3cm from the ground and floats on a cushion of air. However, it is noisy when used indoors and it does require a reasonably flat surface to be most effective. Having used the suspend Frisbee all over the weekend, I found that it is possible to use it for all types of games like football, bowling etc but you do need to be creative....and I am desperately trying to work out a drinking game using the power puck once the kids have gone to bed... so please email me your ideas ! Overall rating 4 stars'
