American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert reveals in the new issue of Rolling Stone that he likes guys (duh), has done ’shrooms and was crushin’ on Kris Allen (hello!).

Is this news? I knew it the second I saw him.

but "he didn't want to make it an issue" - more like the show didn't want to lose the young female votes.

Shame he couldn't "confirm" it when on American Idol - if he was so proud of it he would of told everyone at the start surely?

so?? he is gay hardly has a bearing on being a fab singer his sexuality shouldnt be a issue and i should think the reason he didnt confirm it while on american idol is because it was a singing contest not a lets find the next gay idol contest

Producers on talent shows try and make contestants stay in the closet to get them more votes, the girl vote goes when they say they are gay.

Thats why Will Young waited.
