I was just wondering if Angel McKenzie are her real first names because Angel may be Angelika, which is very common in Russia. About her last name McKenzie, it's not russian at all so maybe she has an American or English parent ?

I know it seems pointless but I am curious to know. :hugesmile:

I'm pretty sure she must be Russian; and I'm pretty sure she's not married - must either have an English speaking parent or changed her surname for the show?

Yes she is russian, judging by the accent, it's typically the one russian people have when they speak english or other languages.

I'm not an expert on Russian surnames, but maybe she's anglicised her Russian surname, or perhaps just changed it to avoid too much media scrutiny on her family/friends?

Yes at one point she appears to have been married to "Nick Hobbs" and her name became Helen Hobbs (Helen could be a Westernised version of Elena/ Lena).

Then she is adopted by Clinton McKenzie and becomes Angel McKenzie.

I feel bad as I have got all of this information from someone else's post on a different forum.
