View Full Version : social services to investigate saffia for abandoning her 7 month old child

SmokeCrackItsGood
11-06-2009, 07:02 PM
they say the baby wont understand why its mother has suddenly disapeared and wont know who she is when she is reunited after maybe 4 months of fame seeking. Her defence of " it will benifit my children" does not apply, as she lives in a house bougth for her by the millionaire father of her first child and she is very well off. Seeking fame at the expense of abandoning your 7 month old baby really is disgustingly selfish and wrong.

I suppose it depends how you define "abandoned". Do you think she shoved her kids into the workhouse for the summer? Or do you they've been left with family? Maybe even their father(s). I'm sure social services have more pressing concerns.

The 7 month old baby will be extremely disstressed by suddenly being apart from its mother for possibly 4 months, weather or not its being looked after by other family members. Its 7 months, not 7 years old. That is a crucial age.She should be flogged in the street.

People who are finding it hard to cope and voluntarily place their children in care while they get help sorting themselves out, parents who are in the military, people who work abroad.

people who cant cope are doing it cos they dont have much choice then. And if a woman is in the military she should not have a child unless she is prepared to be there for it!

So, I'm assuming you also think that all absent fathers should be flogged in the street? And obviously anyone currently serving abroad in the forces should be sent home immediately. Saffia's not my favourite by a long chalk, and it's not a choice many people would have made but I think you're overreacting.

Leave the woman alone. If it was a man who had left his children to go in the house there wouldn't be a word about it.

I am fed up with double standards.

lol, maybe you're referring to the father of child number two little girl. Father of child number one is a very wealthy business man who brought her a house when she had the baby....a very nice place it is too. And he gives her plenty of money for the child, being a millionaire and all, she wants for nothing, she is very well off.

A mother has a different bond with a child than a father does, and im a father too. We're not talking about equality at the workplace here!

SmokeCrackItsGood, my gut reaction initially was because I help run a group that highlights the plight of those that are victims of when Social Services target innocent people, rather then the real child harmers, and my empathy with those innocent people who were victims of legal baby snatching.

What is your excuse?

Also please do not make personal remarks about other posters as that is not tolerated on this forum.

Not one bit of a different bond. You speak rot, as I have said already. Studies have shown that the bond between children and their parents (when said parent both reside with the child) is the same.

Also a seven month old baby would adapt to a situuation like this alot quicker than and older child.

You just want an excuse to hate this woman, so you made one up. The end.

:bored:

But the nan often cares for the child anyway, you make it sound like Saffia handed him/her to a random stranger!

You seemed to have a lot of anger about this for some reason.

I had a similar thread earlier, and my reaction was possibly because of seeing cases from that group I administer on Facebok and comparing it with what this contestant appeared to be doing.

I am trying to understand where you are coming from to see if you also have some displaced anger here.

I agree the bond is completly different with mum she's carried the baby for 9 months a baby needs its mother in a different way than its father not that i'm saying dads are not important because thats not what i'm saying at all what i mean is its a wrench for a 7 month old baby to be seperated from its mother for such a length of time. its not even suggested she went home because of her kids either. i'm glad she's gone and hopes she gets her prioritys right next time!

I AGREE. the baby will not know that she will come back.
how could anyone leave their baby for potentially 2 months when they are just 7 months old
the babys primary bond is with the mother and being looked after by grandparents will be confusin and distressin
