Channel 4
The grandaddy of all reality shows is back for a sixth series. Whatever your feelings about it - dread, excitement, indifference - you won't be able to ignore it. By next week, there'll be hundreds of column inches in the tabloids about the disparate group who are moving into the redesigned house tonight. By next Friday these strangers will have become nearly as familiar to us as our own family. And by the end of the summer they'll all be eligible to go on the next I'm a Celebrity.... Chances are we'll all dip into it at least once, but the real question is whether Big Brother will pull in its usual massive audiences, or whether the recent flood of reality shows has blunted our enthusiasm.
