BB9 was criticised at the time last year from a lot of people.

But looking back now, do you now think it was a good series?

I always thought it was a good 'un. I have enjoyed BB10 so far, but BB9 was good as well despite what the ratings suggested.

At the time I only liked it but in hindsight I think its up there with BB5 and 6

Big Brother 9 was a very poor series. The housemates weren't likeable and the whole "Rex show" killed it. It's down at the bottom with BB4 and BB5 to be honest. BB10 is much better and there are likeable housemates this year...

I suppose it depends what you're after in a series, I think that you put BB5 at the bottom shows you don't really like the negative series' and prefer a positive one, whereas I much prefer the ones where they're all at each others throats :spin2:

BB9 was very good, it may have not been given the best reviews or gotten the best ratings but there was so much drama, so many big characters, lots of arguements, it was great!

I'd put it somewhere in the middle, when Nicole went in it defeated the purpose of the audition process, which killed it.

Yeah, Best series ever!!

I remember watching it every day on Live really loving everyone and getting to know them, and every person was unique is was a great series!

BB8 Got better ratings than BB9 I read...

Shame, BB8 was the worst series ever if BB9 took its place maybe people would still be watching..

Rex was a legend, Darnell and Dale and stu and Luke and Bex and everyone made it great!!!!!!!

Would give my arm to have it back I accually would.

Did you not watch BB5 at the time? I think its definitely one to appreciate at the time with all the media and social interest around it, at the time BB5 was having the impact Britain's Got Talent had the other week

I watched a couple of highlight shows, i remember hating Nadia's group and also hating the other group lol. I couldn't warm to anyone. I watched Michelle eviction though because i remember friends telling me at school that she "deffo gonna go" and i remember actually liking her the last time i watched it lol. But i watched the series on youtube, up until Vanessa's eviction and i thought it was very poor lol. I just couldn't warm to anyone sadly :sad:

I was of that opinion at the time but when the series ended and I reflected on it, I just feel it was a big let down with no likeable characters.
The series gave us a few stand out moments and was very good until about week 8 this is when I feel it just went flat mainly because of the dislikeable boring characters, crap Heaven and hell twist and just failing to meet the quality of the first 8 weeks
If it had of been a 10week series then it would have been my third favourite but it just dragged out way too long for me and this is what I fear about BB10
I do prefer BB5, BB6, BB7, BB3 and BB8 to it.

I loved it; I couldn't get into BB7 or BB8 really, so I tried watching BB9 as I had with the others and loved it from the word go. It was quite good in the sense that if you supported the B-Block, you got a great final, if you supported the other housemates then you felt kind of incensed that all of your favourites got booted out, but (for me anyway) it was satisfying to see Sara outlast Rex, Darnell, Mohamed etc. I think the fact that Rachel won it clouded how good a series it was; she was a very controversial winner purely because she herself is not controversial, she was the peace maker in the house and I think that in some ways, it was the best thing that could have happened, seeing her win.

It was an Ok series. It had some of my favourite housemates ever and some of the tasks were good but was destroyed by voters having BBlock tinted spectacles on. By week 8 most of the entertaining housemates had been evicted so BB had to inflict Nicole on us to keep the show going.

The only moments of the last tedious 5 weeks I enjoyed were Lisa and Sara winning 25k each and Kathreya's surprise eviction. 13 weeks of suffering Darnell, Mohamed and Kathreya were compounded by a lacklustre final won by the Queen of Bland.

Looking back I think it was, but I definetely think Luke & Rebecca should have stayed longer than they did, same with Stuart & Dale. Because by the last month or so most of the entertaining ones were gone & yeh they inflicted "Princess Nicole" on us.

I think the tasks however were brilliant, the electric shock one, of course been the best & I have the memory of Mikey eating that chillie imprinted into my brain, lmao.

#6 is probably my favourite series after BB5 and it was by far the best for tasks. Just thinking about the spy task brings a smile to my face, not to mention Room 101 and the Box Task which were pure genius.

I think the reason it doesn't get the praise it deserves is because it was blighted by Lesley's bullying of Sam and everyone's generally shoddy treatment of her.

As for BB9, it was an excellent series overall, but it took a sharp nosedive when Nicole entered the house and whenever it seemed as if Rex couldn't get more obnoxious or unlikeable, he did.
