I just read on DS that BB Spy website person is giving up because they don't like Big Brother anymore.

Day 3256: Big Brother has been evicted

In the last ten years I’ve watched every single episode of Big Brother. Tonight, I’m not watching, and Big Brother only has itself to blame.

To be honest I disagree with quite a bit of that. Particularly the Marcus narration thing - talk about petty, as if it makes a difference. I'm satisfied with eviction shows and the advertising campaign may be boring but I thoguht it was the best in years.

its just a view of one of the member of staff who works on the site! so no the whole site has not came to an end!

the girl who writes them articles is always negative and has had many negative comments slating big brother and not to mention "live feed issue" on many sites such as inside big brother

she is just one member and needs to get over live feed and stop in forcing her negative opinion onto every one else!

just ignore Brekkie articles on bbspy i say!

Thanks for the tip. I read on DS it was the whole site going off, so got confused.

I think it's sad she's givign up, because it's actually quite a good series! If you could withstand BB4 and BB8, you definitely should be able to withstand BB10 because it's better.

Well of course it's not new, it's 10 years old!

The show has done so well to last this long in the first place. People only expected it to last 1 year when it started.

It's been a good innings, but like many television programmes there's a natural end, and we're close to it regarding BB.

Brekkie was up for fighting the good fight in an attempt to save this show from becoming nothing more then a scripted C4 controlled soap opera.

actually... worse then a scripted soap opera... a scripted soap opera that you felt like you have missed 5 episodes of everytime you tuned in.

I always liked his/her posts... Even if you didnt, what a shame to see a genuine fan give up on the show.

I wish you people would get it tho... LF kept C4 more honest, and that was good for all of us, even if you didnt watch it.

Big Brother cannot win. Simple as. There is no way of pleasing everyone all of them time.

Personally, I have enjoyed the first ten days of this series and I have high hopes for the next twelve weeks. The think we have finally been giving interesting and entertaining housemate who don't need to be OTT argumentative to make good TV. I also enjoyed the launch twist and although I don't like the new interview format, I like that they are trying and after 10 years they continue to try something new. For a reality TV series to fun for this long is impressive, and we cannot expect it to be perfect every time.

For the fans of older BB as well, it's unfair to compare it to previous series. It's a whole new generation of BB fans that we are around now and it appeals to a much younger audience - mostly due to magazines like 'Heat'.

We should not be criticising a show that has given us fans so much entertainment over the last nine summers. I appreciate that BBUK are still not afraid to try new things and experiment with it's format.

Brekkie says that BB needs to listen to the fans - well the fans are split. There is no way they can win. There will always be a group of people who disagree with everything that they do.

And bbspy is not giving up. It's my view, not the sites - and if you actually read the blog, I only point out I've not watched tonight's episode, although at the moment I've no appetite for any more highlight shows unless something radical is done.

As you're here, can I tell you:

There's no way the producers can please everyone.

If they turned the eviction shows to 1 longer show (like you suggest), there will still be people complaining saying that it's too long and a break is needed etc.

Away from internet land I'd actually claim that 90% of the fans love Davina ... I've never heard anyone say a bad word about her in real life and noone thinks it would be the same without her

But obviously with the show having such an internet following it does then its obvious theres going to be a lot of back lash. Heck, I even remember reading posts about (during BB5) saying it was the worst ever!!

But i blame C4 for all this, and yes the live feed.. Still they could air live feed on E4 at a better time, let's say C4 BB highlights at 9pm, and E4 LF at 10pm..

I'm on quite a few BB forums, and every time I've browsed posts NOTHING ever pleases Brekkie. EVERYTHING is wrong. It's quite irratating to read a lot of the time, and at the end of the day that's his deal.

I think that this series of BB has the potential to be one of the best series in a long time. However I do agree that the live feed is a big loss. I do think that boycotting watching due to this is a big mistake though. It is just giving Channel 4 a reason to scrap the show,

I think in terms of BB lately the saying "damned if you do and damned if you don.t" applies. Unfortunately people seem intent on continually looking at the negative aspects of BB now and lets face it you will never please everyone.

I think it is a great shame that people no longer appreciate what a great show this has been and still is as far as I am concerned. It is only when it is no longer on our screens that people will realise how much they miss it.

We will just have ITV based stuff like Celebrity.... Errrrrrrhhhkk! It may not be a GREAT show, but its better than ITV can do! BBC would only take on BigBrother if they could have them Cooking and Decorating the house all the time!
