I believe in something spiritual after death but that's about it - vampires, mysterious monsters (loch ness / bigfoot etc.) are all bullshit.

I totally belive in ghosts. But not in the way people say. like tom said lol. I made a thread about the paranormal and said some of the things that have happened to y at my grandads and another thing has happened since then. Basically I couoldnt sleep at all and I was wide awake when I heard someone walking from out of no where (in the hallway) and go into the toilet and shut the door. No one came out again. I was scared shitless.

As for the rest I dont think that any of them are real. Except for maube nessie lol x

Also you may find this really stupid and sad but I think only certain people can see/hear ghosts. Like I am the only one in my family to have had something to do with them.
It really bothers me too because when I am there my sisters are alot braver than me LOL. I am always to scared to go up the stairs even in the day light lol x

Legends of supernatural creatures stem from history and misunderstandings of people in less developed times. For example vampires were thought to exist hundreds of years ago because when the plague was in full swing and there was a load of open graves and such, people thought the corpses were vampires because they could be heard breathing and blood would appear around their mouths. We know now that it was simply air and liquids escaping from the bodies.

Everything mythical and legendary has a basis in fact but that basis is far from supernatural.

Basically everywhere we go we leave chemical traces and some people with more acute or sensitive insticts can pick up on these traces and see shapes, kinda like an hallucination. It's only a theory but I quite like it.

lol me too. I feel a bit mean though because if these things hadn't happenedd to me then I wouldnt beleive any of it. I dont know how thats mean though lol x

I think sea creatures are the most likely to exist out of any of those; seeing as the oceans and seas are massive areas and go very deep, but for the most part I don't think any of those supernatural phenomena exist.
