I was just wondering, because now we have ch4 +1 and E4 which all show the highlights program, so it could well be that a lot of viewers watch one of these!!!

I know im being thick lol but if you record it and watch it later does it count towards the viewing figures :puzzled:

Only if the channel was on C4 when you recorded it.

Not at all, that's what I'm asking kind of, there are so many ways to watch tv now

People have something called a BARB box (about 5000 homes from all different walks of life) and it records viewing habits and stuff ... then they do some calculations and we get the ratings. Apparently there is only a 5% margin for error, so its supposed to be quite accurate though I'm not convinced of it.

Then 2 weeks later they release further figures with play back and without taking into account advert air time etc and these are usually a bit higher (officials)
