Yes Fredie knows, but he won't stoop to their level. He knows exactly what they are, what they are doing and what they are trying to acheive.

Lisa put ideas into their heads when she told him he was weak, the others will pick up on that and try to get away with all sorts.

I think it affects him, but he must have been expecting to have been outcast because of his background, however the treatment he's been getting from some of the other housemates he can't have predicted. I feel sorry for him.
