Over all first impressions of House Mates thread...

This is what I wrote as the show unfolded...

What do you think of the Hm's?

Derek, did davina say he actually goes fox hunting?? If so ggggrrrrrr....
If not, then I quite liked him.... so far, he seemed genuine, nicely spoken, intelligent and had a nice smile. He seems fairly camp but not overly and I thought he seemed older than 40.

Lesley, hmmm not sure, she seems quite selfish to me and admits she doesn't like other girls. I never understand that as either they are totally insecure or they expect to have sex with everybody they meet and therefore, being straight, don't like girls. hhmmm.... She also seemed really sulky and didn't smile until she got into the house where, despite being nervous she seemed a bit better.

Sam, Loves herself a bit too much for me. She seems bright and confident of herself and I hope she improves. Not much else to say yet.

Maxwell, Ah I didn't like him, talk talk talk talk talk talk talk talk. I like smiley people but he was over confident and put me off him for that reason. Over all impression = bit of a wanker.

Vanessa, She seemed loud and said herself she's shallow which I do not like but once she got into the house she seemed to be ok... I'll have to see how I feel as time goes by.

Anthony, He was trying to hard to impress and it backfired, too over confident and didn't make a good first impression on me.

Roberto, I liked him, he's my 'type' when it comes to men, he seemed good looking and knew it but was not too OTT and me me me. Great, but odd smile. I like him so far. The only thing I didn't like was that as he hugged people he didn't make eye contact with them but that could be due to taking in so much. [see I am making excuses for him already, lol]

Makosi, She seems nice but when she clearly didn't 'get' the nomination thing I have to say she may prove to be a bit thick but... that could have just been the excitement pushing everything else from her head. My initial impression before then was ok, posh, and nervous.

Craig, TOTAL WANKER is what I wrote down here, on my bit of paper; looks down on people and is intending to stirr up trouble therefore has zero respect from me. He also didn't smile at all. Bottom of my pile.

Mary, ermmmm okaaaaaaaay!! I have nothing agaisnt white witches but all the atlantis abductee stuff was a bit :roll: to me. She was also very moody going into the house and couldn't work out how to open a door??? Not sure, don't dislike, don't like.

Science, If he'd had smiled I'd have liked him a lot more, I liked his loud chatty attitude but I think it lacked humour which I always find attractive. He seemed confident, again don't dislike but don't like yet either.

Saskia, She seemed quite nice until she said the racist stuff... what's that about?? :shock: Seems fairly 'normal' nothing stuck out about her... other than the obviuos but then I can't talk about that. :razz:

Kemal, Yep I like him so far, I like extroverts and he seemed nervous and sweet with it. I hope he goes a long way, the word I'd use for my initial impression is cute.

Lesley-That outfit did you no favours darling, you look like the ultimate chav slag.Looks very moody.

Sam-I don't like her, seems a bit of a tart. A bit overconfident.

Maxwell-Typical cockney geezer, proably a bit of a simpleton that just likes a night out with the lads.

Vanessa-Really up herself and whats all this bothered stuff, shut up!

Ant-Bit of a poser, milked the crowd too much.

Roberto-He seems okay, reminds me of David Hasselhoff.

Maloski-Bit of a clown, does not seem to understand anything.

Craig-Total prat, nasty little camp moron. Go and do one mate.

Mary-Mad mary, total fruitcake.

Sciene-I like him, seems a cool guy perhaps a bit arrogant.

Saski-Seemed nice enough till she turned out that racist stuff.

Kemal-Freaky and camp could be funny.

Derek: A bit posh really,I dont like people that look down on other people.Ver up himself IMO.Might be wrong though.

Lesley: Seems liek a biit of a brat and a trouble maker to me.Likes to get her own way Id say,thinks she is the bomb,wouldnt touch ya with a barge pole love.Get over yourslef.Could be interesting though.

Sam: Think teh whole being mad for sex was a ploy to get in.She seems a bit trampish to me though,but she also seems intelligent.:conf:

Maxwell: Bit of a geezer bloke...all talk no action IMO.Anyone can say that they will do this and will do that and dont give a shite about anything...doesnt seem genuine.Although seemslike the rare normal one.

Vanessa:First impressiion was good,then went downa bit but now shes back up among my faves.Could be my emma replacement.

Anthony: Pretty boy...yawn...get over yourslef and exactly how small are you.Seems as dead as dog rolled over by a car truck then bus.

Roberto: Ermm seems ok actually I like him so far.Seems genuine but how many nion-UK peeps ar ethere.Could do well.Drop the accent.

Makosi :Loving her...shes fesity...bit spoiled but Im liking so far.

Craig:: What a little brat...oooh I have this I have that...and he has a salon and his hair looks like someone glud a rat to him.:rolleyes:

Mary: Seems like good fun actually...a bit wierd but so was Ahmed and he made me laugh.

Science, Seen it all before...:sleep:

Saskia: The BEST so far.Y athe racist thing was kinda unfair but its her view and many others too.Speakes her mind,is normal.

Kemal :A bit erm...wierd...have to suss him out,could be good fun!

Derek- I love his poshness (even tho' I'm anti-fox hunting) and he seems like a really nice guy.

Lesley- Oh dear, she really thinks she's it, doesn't she?

Sam- On first impressions I liked her, she seems like a happy-go-lucky girl.

Maxwell-Can't help liking him because he's such a Jack-the-lad! He reminds me of a character in The Thin Blue Line - the Cockney geezer who's always eating :laugh:

Vanessa- She seems fun, but she might get on my nerves a bit!

Ant-Call me shallow, but he's gorgeous! Yes, he posed WAY too much when he went into the house but I think he'll be a really nice guy...

Roberto-I like him, really friendly guy :thumbs:

Maloski-She seems a bit Emma-like now :laugh: I think she'll forget all about her task :laugh:

Craig-Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing in his audition tape :mad:

Mary-She reminds me of Kate Bush :laugh:

Science-I think he's cool, really street

Saskia- Hasn't made much of an impact, tbh.

Kemal-HILARIOUS!!! :laugh:

Derek - I really like him, his voice is cool :D He's posh but yeah I think he seems nice

Lesley- Not many people seem to like her, but I do! I think she's pretty. She does seem quite moody though. Loving the nurse outfit.

Sam - Meh. I didn't really think much of her. I do think her whole "I wore out my 3 vibrators" thing is a bit of an act, and it kinda annoys me.

Maxwell - Ahh he's annoying...

Vanessa - I think she seems really cool and fun.

Ant - My least favourite. He milked the crowd way too much, he just seems really bland and boring to me.

Roberto - I thought he seemed quite nice.

Maloski- My favourite so far. I think she's really pretty and her personality seemed great, also loving her orange dress. She seemed a bit stupid when she didn't seem to understand what they said to her in the diary room but it took me ages to understand what they meant aswell, lol.

Craig - His little video thingy really annoyed me, with all the unnessecary swearing. I can't remember what I thought of him in the house...

Mary - Shes different. I like her. Seems kind of sweet, in a very odd way.

Science - I like him...

Saskia - Errm well theres nothing wrong with her but nothing about her stands out to me, she bores me.

Kemal - I really cannot make up my mind if I liked him or not.

Roberto - italian charmer, my face is a gift

Maloski- not as bright as she tries to be, diva

Craig - video evidence? annoying - time will tell

Mary - mad, strange and i'm a bit worried about her going in there. The state of her mentally has to be in doubt

Science - yo dude image, again young

Saskia - bimbo, i do a bit of modelling at the football, ambition to be a footballer's wife says it all. Where is the girl who could be a better role model for young girls??????

Kemel - not sure, mmmmmmmmm

Mary - i think she is intresting - i hope she doesnt leave!

Sam - i think the wole 'hornist girl in the world' thing is an act !

The housemates this year seem to be a mixture of "characters" (e.g. Derek, Mary, Kemal) and "slappers" (e.g. Lesley, Anthony, Sam etc.)

I am really disappointed with the choice of girls - aside from Makosi and Mary, they all seem a load of cheap tarts.

Also, where are the blondes??????

At this point I just cannot be bothered with an opinion of all the housemates but one. As most of them seem to be run of the mill imature youngsters that you might find drinking themselves silly on a night out.

One exception. Mary. I like her and hope she hangs on in there...She is the only person that has character be it a bit odd.....:sleep::sleep:

Do you know, I quite agree with you there. Is it just me getting old? I really hope I am going to warm to some more of them, but at the moment, I only like Derek, Mary and Makosi.

The girls appear to be variations on a theme of brunette bimbo:
Lesley = Northern thick bimbo (I hope she's not going to give all Yorkshire girls a bad name)
Sam = posh, trying to look intelligent bimbo (Oxford Brookes Uni is NOT the same as the University of Oxford!)
Vanessa = pink, girlie bimbo (incidentally, she sounds like a female version of Marco)
Saskia = ladette bimbo

I am hoping that Makosi and Mary stand out from the crowd a bit!

Maxwell - Seems call, a gooner... so will vote for him anyway to get back at Arsenal for beating us 7-0

Vanessa - Nice to look at, gobby tho

Anthony - First to go in my opinion. Loves himself

Makosi - Seems a bit too soft for Big Brother

Craig - Cant stick him... hes lucky I aint in there, cos I'd have him in a punch up straight away

Mary - Odd, say no more

Science - Top man, seems big headed but confident

Saskia - Lovely, but was a bit shocked about her racist comments

Kemal - Seriously worried about this man... is he sane?
