A FORMER Sheffield man who loves cooking in the nude was last night unveiled as a Big Brother contestant.
Roberto Conte, a former Sheffield Hallam University student who used to model for The Star, is one of 13 wannabes who entered the Big Brother house.
For up to three months, the Channel 4 reality TV show will screen his every move to millions of viewers.
The 32-year-old has already been dubbed the Italian Stallion and has odds of 6/1 of winning and scooping the prize pot of £70,000.
Avid viewers who tuned in to the first instalment of the sixth series of BB saw Roberto enter the house showing off his chest. He spent his first few hours chatting to fellow contestant Mary, who claims to be a white witch.
He was born and raised in Italy but came to Sheffield as a student and part-time waiter.
He waited tables while studying to become a PE teacher and did some of his classroom training at Ecclesfield Comprehensive.
Customers at Nonna's and Santino's on Ecclesall Road and Marco@Milano's on Archer Road were among those won over by his charms.
Big Brother peoplewatchers have already picked up that Rob is a keen cook - what they have yet to discover is that he loves to cook in the nude!
Now a fully-qualified teacher, he lives in Liverpool. In 1996 he reached the final of the Most Handsome Man in Italy competition and grudgingly admits to being "an excellent package with few faults".
Roberto fears the others will find him over-confident and said: "I'll get nominated because I might say something that people won't want to hear."
He was cheered on last night by his best friend Adrian Bagnoli who works at Cubana on Trippet Lane.
