Smaller groups being formed?

Is it just me or are smaller groups being formed this year? Normally it is two sides and the floaters but so far this year seems to be double acts more than groups.

Sophie + Karly could call them a 4some.

Cairon + Siavash Could possibly add marcus

I think the main doubles would be-
Karly and Sophie.
Kris and Charlie
Siavash & Cairon
