When Freddie sings the Blues

Why do the listeners seem to want to run away as fast as possible?

I think he's not a bad singer, and never goes so out of tune you want to cover your ears, is it not bearable at worst?

I like the way Angel just listened to him on the HL last night. She's not bland and predictable, she's a character like Freddie is and I think she totally gets him.

Have said that... not a big blues fan myself. To quote Bleeding Gums Murphy on the Simpsons... "The blues ain't meant to make you feel better, they're meant to make other people feel worse".

I think he seems to go to a different world when he sings, and that is more interesting to the Listener than the song itself. You could almost see Angel thinking Ahhh Bless

Yes - you can almost believe he's just lost his job, his home, his woman, his dog has abandoned him to live with his ex-wife's boyfriend and all he has left is the blues.

Don't think he'll be getting a recording contract when he gets out though
