View Full Version : EXCLUSIVE... All Big Brother winners returning to house...!!!!

ALL nine Big Brother champs are to be united in the house for the first time.

Sexy Kate Lawler, 29, ex-trolley dolly Brian Dowling, 31, brickie Craig Phillips, 37, and Portuguese trans-sexual Nadia Almada, 32, will return on a mission to boost ratings.

And they will be joined by fellow winners Cameron Stout, 38, Anthony Hutton, 27, Tourette’s sufferer Pete Bennett, 27, dopey Brian Belo, 21, and last year’s champion Rachel Rice, 25.

The amazing stunt is part of a secret plan to save the Channel 4 show.

Big Brother 10 has been on air for only two weeks of its 13-week run.

But ratings have been steadily falling.

Fans have switched off in protest over the lack of live feed on E4.

And critics have called the latest batch of wanna-bes “boring”.

But producers are planning to turn the tide on Tuesday July 14, when they will celebrate the anniversary of the launch of Big Brother.

The very first episode of BB1 aired on that date back in 2000.

And TV chiefs want to make it a “day to remember” for fans.

They plan to send all previous nine winners back into the house to join the current set of housemates.

The old faces will team up with the BB10 gang for a special task.

It is hoped that this stunt – with other surprises – will send ratings soaring.

A source said: “This is just the sort of thing Big Brother fans have been begging for and will certainly boost viewing
figures.”

Last night a spokes-woman for the show said: “The final plans about what’s in store on July 14 will be revealed nearer the time.”

i think that would be a good idea! but i dont want old housemates coming in and staying for a long period of time because i dont want them to be eligible to win!!

but yeah them participating in tasks and that sounds good :)

If its true I'm indifferent to it really:sad:

Just seems that BB10 can't hold its own so BB will do anything to get back ratings:sad:

Sorry to sound a note of doom, but then when they depart the ratings will drop back down again!!!
It needs good new H/mates and all night tasks, with plenty of talking points for the papers and the viewers!!!!

This show dosent need gimmicks to save it in the long run.

It needs imagination and reinvention from Endemol and support and funding from C4.

Anything else is just plastering over the cracks.

Oh, and Craig is still happy to take money from BB then? Despite bad mouthing it earlier? I guess he really needs to promote his book badly.

They should just show repeats of BB5. they'd get higher ratings!

If they do this it needs to be longer than one day for certain.

John.

Won't make any difference.
BB is dead.

As long as the winners are not eligible to win the prize and as long as they are there for only a day or so, I don't mind. they will also need to advertise this a lot and not just "surprise" us with it on the night.

Tom
19-06-2009, 12:16 PM
So they'll be celebrating 10 years of BB on their 9th birthday .......

Stu
19-06-2009, 12:16 PM
I cant see how anything other than putting them in for a long stretch would increase the ratings. Keep them in for at least one full week I say as part of a long, extended task.

Brian and Kate and Nadia will show them how to enjoy BB!

I kinda hope this doesn't happen. You know when they leave they all get agents and become media savvy so we wont be getting the same people that we watched before. Also, they could give advice to this years housemates, probably won't be allowed to but you never know.

19-06-2009, 01:05 PM
GREAT IDEA!! and personally i think it would be fun if they stayed in there a while but not eligable to win, what I think would be good is the oldies being able to vote for the newbies but NOT vice versa

kelbo81
19-06-2009, 01:06 PM
nominate should i say

I'm looking foward to seeing Brian (Dowling), Nadia and Pete again, the 3 people of the previous series I wanted to win that did. The rest I'm not fussed about really, but I guess it'll be interesting to see how it all goes down. However, I also hope they're not staying for the whole time, but for a while would be good.

This is such a **** idea. Just bring in new housemates.

BJ
19-06-2009, 03:16 PM
As long as they don't go in before 12.00 or we won't see it anyway

new HMs and LF might do the trick

The winners should have to nominate individually for the next housemates to be up for eviction amoungst other things.

Sounds fun, a bit of nostalgia never hurt anyone. Hope they stay in for two weeks and bring back the memorable tasks from each series in BB* themed days.

Who is Rachel? :puzzled:

It sounds like it could be good although I'm not looking forward to seeing the awful Cameron again. If they replaced him with Jon then it'd be great.
