Would it help the format to stay fresh?
Of course the show needs better tasks, good housemates, more flippin booze!

I'm enjoying it to be honest. Maybe it's the people who are bored with it who should take the break.

i still love the idea of the show, it's ****ing great.. just doesn't work without some solid housemates. i think they did a poor job of picking the housemates this series. a lot of them are very boring at the moment, maybe they're not being themselves but it's been a snooze thus far and BB really has to do something to turn it around/

It's been going ten years....

That's a long time on TV.

So, either kill it and give it to E4. OR. Give it a couple of years!

I'll always watch it.. but I think it could probably do with a break alright.

4 years sounds good, or maybe 3 because that is the magic number.

No, it doesn't need a rest. They just need a clear out of the producers and bring in people with fresh ideas.

The reason this year is doing so badly in ratings and on forums is because its same old. We've seen all this before. It SHOULD be a good series but for some reason I just can't get into it. They need to try and keep it fresh every year, I mean look at X Factor. No 2 years have been the same and year on year the ratings are still growing.

After a bad patch for all the series from BB7 to BBCH, BB9 really shown they CAN still make a good series and the public will back it if they do. CBB6 just put them back in that slump, and BB10 even further into it. They're scared of making changes, even down to the outside of the house. It has been the same since BB6 with the odd tweak for each series but pretty much being the same. That just emphasises the same old same old imo.

They just need to put their heads together and overhaul the entire format. Even if it still gets similar ratings to this year at least its a change and makes the show feel fresh again.

What they NEED to do is axe CBB or the January series. That is what is doing the damage imo. Its had its day and time to let go of it even if it breaks contracts, just pay up it'll save the main show. The gap between BB8 and 9 felt like forever but there was a lot of hype for BB9 because BB hadn't been on for so long. The same between 4 and 5.

BB has become so routine for the last few years its becoming hard for me to differentiate between each series... they really need to adopt a whole new approach to the show because it's becoming too "same old thing" each year.. there's always a little twist.. like all female HMs or non-HMs.. but ultimately its pretty much the same.. it needs a MAJOR change.. the first 5 series were so different but its become so repetitive now.

Even down to the advertising for a new series.. I think they need to try something other than eye-flashes.. a whole new type of campaign.. like BB5 had "Black Friday".. because at the moment its not that special.. sure its a new eye but really still the same concept.

An all-winners from previous BB n CBB in a Champion of Champions format is the answer

Whats giving it to E4 Going to do?

All they`ll do is squeeze it in between crap episodes of Friends, still no live feed, **** advertisen.

Give it to a channel that hasnt go the number 4 in its name

And go on a 2 year break after BB11 It will have a big comeback :spin:

True, CBB needs to go and a huge shake up with the BB and maybe a new house, but thats down to the budget.

Better time slot like BB HL at 9pm with LF over on E4 at 10pm.
BB is a good format, just needs the right minds to keep it going.

The concept works. The management and audience does not.

BB needs to die so it can be Reborn.

After BB11 it should take a year off, get more excitement. That's what they're doing in Australia.
