BIG Brother housemate Sree Dasari held crisis talks with lawyers yesterday over fears he is in Britain illegally.
Sree, 25, is visiting from India on a student visa. He requested an extension in January but BB bosses this week discovered he had been turned down.

He signed forms appealing the decision yesterday when they let him meet a legal team - the first time a visitor has been allowed on the sealed set.

this has been mentioned before. i think the bb producers were hoping they could get the paper work and take the risk. but the home office will not back down on there descions for a tv show. like loads of people come in the country and get sent back and proberly killed. yes sree isnt in this situation just got wrong visa. but if the home office sends back people to there death. they ceratinly will send somone back for the worng visa. and wont back down on there decsion. but it all depends if this is true.

Never knew about this till just reading here (as I don't take papers) but as you say I would have thought too that BB would check about legal citizens, after all Sree would be being paid to be in show and would kind of be classed as being employed by ch4????

However Sree seems so desperate to meet a girl, maybe to become a british citizen.
