Totally agree Stu, her failing seems to be that she has tried to stay friends, if she was in the outside world she probably could of acted like most of us and just been blunt with Sree, but there is no escape in the house so correctly she tried to let him down gently, so they could remain friends.

She told him about 4 times that nothing was goign on between them and never would, a normal person would get it but he carried on, now he plays the victim...

She could of told him earlier that she was not interested true, but i think when you say that, you say it with the value of hind sight, and not as she had done by saying what she felt was appropriate at the time.

Noirin realized Sree had overly strong feelings for her and she spoke about it with Lisa. The same night she had a heart to Heart with him in the sofa room

At this point she could go down 2 different paths

Path 1
Be Blunt and risk hurting his feelings, risk losing what may be a good friendship, risk being called a bitch in the eyes of the public and fellow HM's

Path 2
Tell him nicely that she does not want anymore than friendship, and risk hurting his feelings a little, and maybe risk losing friendship( not many people take rejection well no matter how it is delivered)

Unfortunatly i think she took neither paths but instead took the easy way out

Path 3
Drop loads of hints that she just wanted to be friends, risking him not picking up the hint, risking him not wanting to hear the hint.


She took the wrong path but, if he had taken the hint, it would of been the nicest way to tell him no, and we would not be talking about this now, it would of been a non topic.

After that convo in the Sofa room Sree continued to follow her, ask for hugs, and talk to her with affection, can anyone honestly say those moments between them did not look uncomfortable for her? Any fool could see she was getting deeper and deeper into a situation she did not know how to resolve, not because she had lead him on but because Sree just would not take the hint.

She did tell him in know uncertain terms she was not interested that day and all he did was dismiss it, he has a way of hearing NO and thinking NO WHAT!! as if he is puzzled about what the No is for.

It seems obvious to me that now she is using Marcus to put a wedge between her and Sree, which is not cool but She has never Lead Sree on and anyone who feels different have not been watching what i have.

I really don't know what show you lot have being watching. In nearly every single episode Noirin has said the phrase, Friends, or just friends.

Sree has selective hearing as he has proved on numerous occasions. He only recognises the words 'sree you are wonderful', therefore he thinks that is what everyone is saying all the time!
