View Full Version : Sree Sree's fist on Noirin's face - uncomfortable viewing?

Did anyone get a bit uncomfortable when Sree put his fist on Noirin's face?
Some would say that was unacceptable behaviour and an act of aggression.
I have seen people say that outside the BB house, Sree's behaviour could quickly escalate into violence against a woman who rejects his lecherous advances. This is not a cultural or ethnic thing as has been suggested by some posters, his controlling and possessive behaviour is a commonly recognised trait of wife beaters.
A rather disturbing screenshot of the duo: http://www.screenshotdatabase.com/index.php?mode=4&sdate=2009-05-21&shour=21&smin=09&ssec=04

Too early to have him arrested in loo of what he may do, but i do think it MAY be a indicator of a violent attitude torwards un-coperative females.
I hope it's just i childish gesture of dis-approval that would only ever remain a gesture
hes a knoc end of - he's such an idiot - get him out.
Sree to go!!!!:cheer:

But how is she guilty of anything but showing friendship to someone who was having a hard time. She made it clear from the start she was a 'friend'. Sree is incapable of understanding the term. His lack of understanding is NOT Noirins fault nor her problem!

Too right.
Her only mistake was to think she could just be friends with him. I dont think if she knew he was such an obssesive, controlling, arrogant, cant take no for an answer kinda guy, she'd have given him so much time to start with.

Agree
Sree hasn't got a clue. Infers that Noirin is a slut, calls her stupid about 10 times then gropes her as he attempts to get her to sit on his lap after his sorry attempt at an apology. Then talk about what is or isn't "proper"... what a sleaze. This rubbish about Noirin leading him on is the STUPIDEST stuff I've read on this thread.

I have to say that I have been watching Sree very closely as he pushes himself on Noireen and it makes very uncomfortable viewing indeed.
There is something almost sinister in the way he's forcing his attentions on her and she's clearly uncomfortable with him and trying her best, badly though, to pacify him.
He needs to be taken aside by BB and given a talking to. If he continues then I think he should be removed from the BBH for Noireen's safety.
I am also alarmed at how quickly he turns nasty on anyone (usually male) who stands up to him and shows any attention towards Noireen. I get very bad, creepy, vibes from Sree. I actually liked him at first but now feel he needs to go next.

What are you trying to say?
I like that way you acknowledge that there are two sides to this relationship. Sree is pushy and doesnt read signs so I think its up to Noirin to tell him straight with no misunderstandings.

"You know it too, dont you?" mahahaha
no mate I don't.
She made it PERFECTLY clear. Repeatedly. The confusion came into it because Sree kept going for those weird and awkward hugs and she didn't tell him to ***** off. So her crime is not totally emasculating him but preserving his dignity. He decided that that meant she was still interested. lol what an ego.
This whole thing is coming from Sree... it's about airtime and creating a compelling storyline that portrays him as the victim and ensures his head is on the HL show ( result!). Noirin is totally innocent ... Sree could have easily picked ANY of the girls for this panto performance ( and tried them all!). Noirin's problem is that she was the least likely to rudely tell him to p*ss off. "You know it too, dont you?"

But if he can't get the message he is either stupid and lacks social skills or is playing a very sly game to get sympathy. That man is much more aware than he lets on
I don't think it was uncomfortable though, BB doesn't make me uncomfortable easy. I didn't even feel uncomfortable at the treatment of Shahbaz in the opening part of BB7! But thats what I compare everything to now, noone had a problem then and most thought it was kinda funny. Now, all you have to do is slightly raise your voice and suddenly you're a bully

I think we have a definition problem here, i am positive she has told him straight, but i cant remember how she put it i will look through some of the vid clips i have.
But if your chasing a girl and she says, 5 or 6 times, i just want to be friends, i would hear that straight, wouldn't you?, wouldn't most blokes, this is deffo Sree's issue, and Noirin has no cross to bear whatsoever

If she leaves in the next few weeks do you think she's going to be asked any other questions? Just as if Sree leaves in the next few weeks dont you think he's going to be asked how he managed to misread the signals? I think you firstly need to acknowledge that theres two sides to this story.
She doenst need to emasculate him inorder to tell him how she feels. I dont understands what you're trying to say here. She needs to calmy tell him that she does not have any feeling for him other than as an aquaintance during their stay in the house. Thats all she needs to do. Peresonally, I dont see whats so difficult about it.
Just the other day Sree tried to dance dirty with Sophie while cleaning the house. She didnt say anything she kind of played along with it, so I dont know where you're getting this feeling that Noirin submitted to him. You'll need to explain. So, no I dont know it.

For me the fact that she did not tell him straight, does not automatically equal blame on her part.
Some people are just incapable of saying things "they feel" are cruel which is why she dropped hint after hint. Not to mension saying and i quote, "I just want to be friends"
People saying she share's some of the blame are wrong imo she did enough to get the message through to a reasonable person, to blame her says she should of assumed he was unreasonable and that just is not the way reasonable people operate,we are reasonable and expect the same in return, if we are treated unreasonably we expect reasonable people to come to our defence not blame us for not assuming unreasonableness.

What she gets asked by Davina isn't proof of anything so why take that line. Dav probably will ask her that but that won't prove your point.

Unbelievable, that there are people blaming noirin for this stupid behaviour!!!
She clearly stated many times to sreeless that she just wants to be friends and NOTHING more!
he can't handle being rejected by her and is behaving like an idiot,
even his arguments with Marcus are results of his frustrations because Noirin likes Marcus.
If this goes on like this BB will be forced to kick him out,it starts to be scary that sreeless is behaving:nono:
Girth- Yeah I know whats in her VT, I'm just refuting you saying shes living up to it by women hating her based on what I've seen
And she couldn't make it clearer she doesn't like him, perhaps what should make the highlights tonight will make you realise that (did you watch live at about 3am?)

Arrr now you hit on something i have to agree with you on, i think she is using Marcus, or was using him. I think she wanted an ally to fight off Sree's unreasonable advances as she felt she had made it clear enough and he was still deaf to the situation. She knew talking to him in a sexually provocative way, ie the Cider for Nips convo, would draw Marcus(ally) into the argument with Sree and provide a way of distancing herself from him. She has been a bit deceitful in that way, sure

I think she is too nice to tell him to ****** off but I've no sympathy for that. I watched all the VT's just the other night and I have to say, Noirin is coming across exactly as she did in her VT. Does anyone remember her saying that men tend to like her and women tend to hate her. And, that most men fall in love with her. She certainly rates herself.. Its a shame she hasnt put more work into trying to tell all those men who fall in love with her that she's not interested.:spin2::whistle:
If she implies it, anyone with half decent social skills would get the message. Sree either has no social skills or is playing a very good game to people feel sorry for him. Take your pick.
If women hate her then why was she having a girly chat last night?
If the women hate Sree then why would Lisa and co take up and not nom him?
That's Lisa's doing. SHe's using Sree against Marcus. Karly and Sophie have had many session complaining how pervy Sree is and accusing him of hypocrisy given that he tries to get the girls to sit in his lap. You miss that did you?

You're kidding me, right!!??? You think saying to someone"I just want to be friends" is only implying that you're not interested????!!! So you're telling me if a girl said that to you, you'd still be un sure whether they were interested or not???

Does anyone remember Sree in the diary room saying "that kind of scary man i am" when asking BB to talk to Noirin for him
So we have Sree thinking he may be a scary man to Noirin, and yet he is still unsure if she fancies him, because she has not made it clear enough to him?
Are you lot serious, wake up and smell the coffee
No reasonable person continues chasing a girl after all that has happened, i bet he still continues, from this point and will that be Noirins fault?

Re macking ... you threw "You know it too, dont you?" out at me so I offered it back.
ps
"so I dont know where you're getting this feeling that Noirin submitted to him. You'll need to explain."
I didn't say that she did. Quite the reverse. That scene in the garden where she threw all his childish manoeuvrings in his face was glorious. She's in my top 3 with Angel and Siavash No she did not tell him over and over. She implied it over and over. As I stated earlier, if she told him straight then tell me when she did it cuz I missed it.
What she gets asked by Davina will be proof that others see both sides of this and not just what they want to see.
Theres no doubt she's p*ssed off with him and that scene in the garden was quite funny but why did it take all that has happened to get to that point? Why didnt she tell him staight last week? No one is answering that question but I bet you she's going to be asked it.
Yes she did ... and he read it loud and clear. Yet he persisted. That's why I think it's all Sree's staged romance for the sympathy vote. "we are just friends" would be clear enough for you and me. But it WAS clear enough for Sree too ....he wasn't done playing to the cams and getting the "poor Sree" comments from the HM's If that's not clear enough then wtf?
re Davs question
yep she may be asked that but mate... what does it prove? A question asked isn't a proof. It doesn't prove that they THINK she should have told him clearer. Surely a better proof would be to watch the show and bring that to the argument instead of waiting to see what Dav asks

As for women hating her - her words not mine. Would you like to take another look at her VT? I'm sure its on youtube.
Aren't you missing the point here?
Even if Noirin were head-over-heels in love with Sree or a total slut, his treatment of her would be out of order.
He physically restrains her when she tries to get away from him,
he's pretended to slap her when she irked him, and now he's swung a clenched fist at her face in an act of frustration.
THEN he said "I only Joke', 'We Still Friends"
Hate Noirin as much as you like, but whatever his sins, he is out of order treating her or anyone else this way.

Is it possible that, in some kind of animal away, she's affiliated herself with a large dominant male who will be able to protect her from Scrote?
Why are we discussing Noirin's game-playing in a threat to debate Scrote's acts of mock aggression? Is't there a "have a pop at Noirin" thread for these posts?

She knew talking to him in a sexually provocative way, ie the Cider for Nips convo, would draw Marcus(ally) into the argument with Sree and provide a way of distancing herself from him. She has been a bit deceitful in that way, sure
I'm not sure that is really deceitful, as Marcus is in on it, too. In fact, he offered his services. And the thing is it's not like she is doing anything she wouldn't otherwise be doing (she said that the reason she didn't show her boobs for a can of cider is because she was on telly - in her VT she said she practically gets naked at the drop of a hat). Sree isn't upset that she's doing things with Marcus, he's upset that she's the kind of girl who would show her boobs to someone for a can of cider - and he's upset it's not him.
It's like she's cheated on him and let him down when she was never involved with him and the version of her who was pure and innocent only ever existed in his head.
GiRTh said

Marcus doesn't smother her, hasn't claimed to be in love with her (quite the opposite, in fact), and hasn't said anything that she hasn't felt totally comfortable with. Marcus knows where her boundaries are and respects them.
Yes, he'll bang on about her tits and her arse, but he also checks to make sure that she doesn't mind him talking to and about her like that. Sree physically restrains her and lectures her on how she should behave, all the while telling her it's for her own good.
There's a HUGE difference there.

I actually don't think Marcus was in on it, and ok she may well of been behaving that way naturally, but she seems to be allowing history to repeat itself i mean
If you have been through that with Sree, totally blameless on your part, would you then go and ally with the only other male in the house which is being a tad bit leturous toward you.
There must be a reason why she is allying with him, and i don't think it's because she like's him tbh, i think it's because he's the only other anti Sree HM in there

Also, think theres a difference between Sree and Marcus but certainly not a HUGE difference. Marcus is, in his own way, just as creepy as Sree. The girls between a rock and a hard place IMO
I think she should get it on with Siavash and get them both off her back hehehe!!!!
That I'd love to see LOL

He's definitely grabbing her in a more aggressive manner than he should, but that's her helping him up. The sequence went: Sree asks for a hug, Noirin goes in for one, Sree tries to pull her down and make her sit on his lap, she says no and gives him an awkward hug, she breaks the hug off, he gets her to help him up, he goes for a standing hug.
If you use the green arrows in the upper left corner of the page to navigate backwards and forwards you can see the whole sequence, and the picture posted by the OP is her helping him up after the sitting hug.

He's a grabber, more hands than a poker stack, manipulative. TBH i could go on and on, all negative with maybe only 3 or 4 things positive, He's not going anywhere near my sister put it that way

I suspect Scree's past form has started to shape my perceptions - as soon as he appears on the screen I assume the worst.

many hms have told him he doesn't listen, and many times he has proved it, if anyone tell him something he doesn't like, he ignores it. noireen spoke to him the other day and then asked him what she said, he couldn't tell her, she said '[you never listen to what people say to you'. so when noireen tell him she is not interested, its not what he wants to hear so he ignores her.

Yeah, thats right, I think Noirin is really good at getting her point across to him, (that particular incident you mentioned is a good example) but like you said he doesn't hear what he doesn't want to hear and thats it! people keep saying she should have said this or that to him but it wouldn't have mattered cos he wouldn't have heard it anyway!!

I'm going to be honest, I thought this thread was entitled "Sree sits on Noirin's face" which I feel would be even moreso uncomfortable viewing.

He borders sexual harassment...I don't understand why some people are still supporting Sree.
I don't know how Noirine is still sane. If Marcus and Sree don't get booted out soon it wouldn't surprise me if she walked.

So you're telling me if a girl said that to you, you'd still be un sure whether they were interested or not??? Not at all. I can read signals bad vibes from women pretty well trust me I've had plenty of practice. I'm just saying what she said is not telling someone straight. I've given you an example in an earlier post of what I think she needed to say.
are you another sree in the making?? lol
"i just want to be friends" is one of the most used break-up lines. when someone says that, you know what it means.
noirin can't be blamed for him not understanding. that's his problem. he's been told over and over again that nothing's gonna happen by her and others in the house.
he makes my skin crawl.
it's like blaming a girl for being assaulted coz she wore a revealing outfit and was drunk?? she said no, but did she REALLY mean it?!?!?!?

Some would say that was unacceptable behaviour and an act of aggression.
I have seen people say that outside the BB house, Sree's behaviour could quickly escalate into violence against a woman who rejects his lecherous advances. This is not a cultural or ethnic thing as has been suggested by some posters, his controlling and possessive behaviour is a commonly recognised trait of wife beaters.

I think Noirin has made it perfectly clear.... Sree just cannot accept it like a man.Its almost as if rejection is not part of his religion. When you watch him eyeballing Noirin and Marcus.... it really is quite scary!!

I rewatched Sundays episode last night and finally saw this. I change my mind, I think it was bad enough for Sree to be called into the diary room. I hated Noirins 'Dont do that' reply though. I just dont find that girl at all likeable. She should made a bigger deal out of it cuz its clear that Sree doesnt understand hints, he needs to be told straight.

I thought it was funny in last nights show when she said she hated him and everyone in the house hates him too - then she went and spoilt it by saying yhat she was only joking. I hate him and want him up this week for eviction - bet he would get 90%.
