Wouldn't surprise me, social status at uni and TV entertainment are two VERY different things.

Kris is an example of a guy who has high status and success at uni (if he went, those kinda types).

Sree types are not. And yes I think race plays a factor. Hard to be an indian character and be given the same level of credentials as a funny/crazy white-male equivalent.

I'm happy for Sree, he has a great personality, and he's entertaining us all every evening. He deserves the limelight.

If that was directed at me, I’m wasn't taking the piss AT ALL, I was enjoying the quotes because Sree is so entertaining, and he makes me smile, and yes, LAUGH! NOT because he hasn't a great grasp on the English language (he sounds pretty darn good at it to me considering it isn't his first language.)
