Oddest "announcement" from the Channel 4 Website that Charlie fancies Karly?!
Could love be in the air between Charlie and Karly? That's the latest rumour doing the rounds in the House this afternoon.
With most of the housemates soaking up the sun in the Garden, Charlie trotted in with an announcement to make.
"I've been told today about a new romance in the House," he said with a cheeky smile, before munching on a crisp and waiting for the inevitable reaction.
"Who?" piped up Lisa from the bench. "What's the new romance in the House?"
Ever the master of suspense, Charlie continued slowly chewing on his lone crisp to whip up the anticipation. Then, finally, he spoke, "Kris will tell you."
Okay, we're losing interest now. Get on with it!
"Why do I have to tell them?" moaned Kris. Thankfully, Charlie came clean.
"Me and Karly. That's the new romance. Apparently," he said.
This was news to Karly, who squealed a defiant "shut up" from behind her shades.
Kris then clarified: "Sophie (Dogface) said to me 'Charlie fancies Karly', and I was like 'what?"
"Do you?" probed Lisa.
"No," came the blunt response from Charlie, accompanied by a grave frown for added seriousness.
"She's got a boyfriend."
"But if she never had a boyfriend?" continued Lisa, clearly morphing into Jeremy Paxman.
"No," Charlie claimed, but he couldn't hide the blushes and a big grin that emerged and dashed inside the House after grabbing some random cutlery.
"That's the first time I've seen him go to do the washing up!", laughed Kris.
Well, judging by Charlie's biography, anything's possible...
