View Full Version : Don't Expect Everyone To Be Upset At Michael Jacksons Death!!!

Yes it's sad if someone dies but not everyone liked him. Therefore people are entitled to express that opinion as they would about anyone else or are we all expected to jump on the same bandwagon as people did with Jade and Princess Diana?

Personally, I'm only saddened for his family, friends and fans. That's all.

I was never much of a fan of his music liked some, but its nothing really big to me.
But Im not going to be disrespectful in anyway, as a man has still died and what seems to be a man that had many issues in his life.
As its still raw, ill be deleting anything i find offensive toward his death though as its still raw for some members and could upset them.

The media will have an absolute field day with this-the usual undignified media scrum.

I was really upset when Jade died, even though I didn't like her.
Especially considering it was on mothers day.
I don't remember Diana dying though, was too young.
But erm yeh I am upset.

He lived in a world many of us will never know !!!
Its a shame he has died because of all his fans. But I thought he was fcuked up!

yeah its ok to not like him or the things he has done n yeah everyone is etitled to their opinion but they still have to have respect as the man has passed away

I think all these threads are stupid. I mean for gods sake it's a shock and it's obviously sad news. But why do you need to make a point about not caring? Fair enough, you aren't directly affected but there's a thing called respect for the dead. So whether or not he was 'fukced up' is irrelevant now.
You've got it wrong. You aren't 'expected' to jump on any bandwagon, wake up.
I think his music career was far from over, he hadn't done much recently and he was just living off his massive successes in the past.

I think people should be respectful of his death, they don't have to be sad or upset, but death is death; all it requires it for people to show respect, even if you hated him.

im not a fan, but 3 children have lost their daddy, and for that im sad  my heart goes out to them xx
I'm not saddened at all I just find it funny how people can completely wipe out the past few years and see him as St Michael. He has become a laughing stock lately. I'm not shocked either. I seen it on the news and just though 'oh'.
I thought the same Tom.. I was shocked at first but now I think oh right.. oh..

I think in his personal life he was completely messed up beyond repair.
Musically the man was a genius, there are too many songs/dances to name but I'll go with the obvious thriller video and the Motown 25 Billy Jean/Moonwalk.
Hope his Kids are okay, really sad day for music:(

With the amount of media attention and scrutiny on the trial I'd be surprised if ANYONE could have got away with a false verdict. The only thing his status would have brought him if he was guilty was a more lenient sentence.
If the Law says someone is not Guilty then you really have to believe even if you don't agree with the verdict otherwise what's the point of a trial? you might as well brand everyone guilty.

She entitled for her opinion. I wont be crying over Michael Jackson because the people who mean the most to me are my family and my friends as well.
What Enid just said isn't selfish at all as she clearly cares about her family and friends, not everyone has to cry and sob endlessly about this death. Not everyone is going to be upset by this!

You aren't 'expected' to jump on any bandwagon, wake up. so when garry glitter dies we forgive him everything he has done to kids and just respect the man...cause he is dead......aye right.
Exactly! Mj was never convicted but paying the boys parents 20 million says it all. :cheer:
The boys parents were the ones who allowed that boy to stay over in the first place!!! And I can assure you that if something like that happenend to one of my children 200 Billion wouldnt be enough to pay me off and keep me quiet, Id want to see the man behind bars as Im sure every other 'parent' would. Says alot about what type of parents they were
Great post yvonnexx. I certainly wont be mourning his death. I'll save it for the boys innocence that was taken for a few million quid.
Shame on the parents :yuk:
