I am finding your 'Avatar' highly offensive. Can you please take it off?

Actually, it caught my eye earlier and made me a bit uncomfortable too but I didn't say anything as I thought I maybe just didn't get it!

Well we are maybe taking it the wrong way... Can you explain what it is meant to be?

Looks a bit like a Gillian Wearing film. She won the Turner prize in the 90's

I think it may be worse for women, or triggering for women who have been a victim of domestic violence tbh.

It's way to long to watch. I can't be arsed trying to be offended.

I recently complained to GO about it and he came up with the same excuse.
That it was made by a woman.
I think the problem is one of context. If I saw this in some arty-farty London "space" I would not be surprised or offended but I wouldn't go back the next day to watch it again.
On this board continuously is a different situation and I agree with you that it would be well-mannered to remove it.

Lauren, men can find gratuitous depiction of violence against women inappropriate too.

I realise, that's what I said "worse", because for women it can be triggering if they're victims themselves. I didn't say men didn't find it inappropriate.
