Aww, it's weird to think that the housemates miss out on news, in the sense that global catastrophes, celebrity deaths etc happen all the time, but for the time they are in the house, the housemates are blissfully unaware. They miss out on the 'in' music for around 3 months, and so on. It's strange to think about!
