Go to save the file as you would normally and underneath where you name the file, there is a list of formats you can save under. Choose ".PDF"

You have to get a pdf creation software package to make pdf files. Microsoft does not save in that format.

When you do have a pdf creator installed, (For instance adobe), you treat it like a printer driver.

I should know because that is how I create mine and I have Office 2007 at home.

You need Microsoft Office for this package, or you may be able to order it from Microsoft.
