I'm not quite sure what he meant by that to be honest. Did he mean being up against Sree, he's sure he's going to stay?

Freddie definitely isn't stupid. If he put his mind to it, he could manipulate every single one of them, but he is just too nice.

Yeah Enid, I think he knows in his heart that he can take Sree and is just up for the fight. He sees Sree as first of the Nasties ('wolves'), and he wants to take that group down so nadly. To be fair to the guy, Sree is the first opponent Freddie hasnt personally liked, so I can understand his happiness.

Most men would have crumbled by now, I have to respect that. Instead of whinging he takes it on the chin, adapts, and tries to up his game. It's actually quite impressive in it's own way.
