agree totaly but to me its down to this whole celeb culture where you hardly need talent (im not talking about the elvis or dean martins of the world) i mean the likes of jordan and fricken kerry katonas ofthis world. also almost everyone in ths show right now is media savvy,they know exactly what works and how far they can get just from being on the show. some burn out after a week but some end up every other week on nuts with the title "big brother babes this week"..

so its fairly depressing your right,but i dont really watch the show for star quality tbf. although there was a guy,liam from whatever series who was decent. and a handful of others who personally were stars still im bored of celebs.. go on myspace and everyones a celeb posing away at 13 yrs old in a bikini. so being a celeb doesnt take much nowadays.

bb isn't as popular as it used to be and i really don't think its coz of the shilpa race row. i think it's coz every year they try to get the wackiest, most contraversial HMs and people are bored with it

it has been running for 10 series and that's a long time to hold an audience

i get slagged every year coz i watch it religiously. that didn't happen before. i struggle to find anyone at work that watches it now.

it's the same people that want to get famous. i want normal housemates. i don't want to watch idiots jumping about being fools. that's why i really like marcus. he's just a typical guy!!! really normal. we need more people like him. plus halfwit. i do like him. if he wasn't being jumped on every time he spoke, he'd hit out with the most random chat ever!!

2/BB5
3/heat Magazine

Jade showed people they could become megastars

BB5 cause it start becoming a freakshow

Heat for shown they pay big bucks for fake romances

They throw in people that already pseudo-celebrities. Karly and Sophie had already been in lad mags and Noirin was on a reality TV show before. It's not right that these people get the chance to go on BB. I miss when the show was full of complete nobodies.
