I wonder if BB deliberately got the music wrong to then justify passing one task and as a bonus potentially creating a scene between the three tenors with tension already high.

This would mean that from the other tasks only 2 would have to be passed.

They also helped Freddie along in winning BB, by making him seem like the one who got it wrong, they knew the likes of Karly etc wouldn't be able to keep their mouths shut, and therefore Freddie was "victimised" from the side of the viewers.
