“Suprises aplenty” for final week of Big Brother

It seems that when BB ends its current run on July 17th, we’re in for “surprises aplenty” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hugely successful show.

Channel 4 has announced that the housemates will encounter “shocking and unexpected” events during the week-long anniversary celebrations which start on Monday July 13th.

In their press release, Channel 4 said of the week-night shows, “Catch up on all the latest goings-on in the house.

“In the week of Big Brother’s tenth birthday, there’ll be surprises aplenty to celebrate a decade of the most talked-about TV programme of the noughties”.

And for the finale on Friday July 17th, they say that “a host of extravagant surprises” are in store for us and the housemates on the final eviction night.

I think that's just a reference to that week! Friday 17th being the end of that week.

It says "final week" in the title of the article.
