You don't have to be gay to go, it is just to celebrate being comfortable with yourself and celebrating that its accepted in the country. And raises awareness.

I went to Pride in manchester last year, it was insane. It is like a festival in the city center. The whole gay village is closed off and you can't get in without ticket, but it gets crammed, so crammed in fact that you can't even move at points... and this is like full length streets!

Think I will be working during Pride this year. Sucks!
