View Full Version : Middle Eastern gang plotting betting scam to get Halfwit out...!!!

I've just heard from a reliable source that a Middle Eastern gang are plotting a betting scam to get Halfwit out.

At the moment, Halfwit is 20/1 to be evicted. Therefore for every £ they bet on him, they get back £20 if he's evicted.

Basically, they've been making calls today to get him out, into their thousands. They have dozens of people working round the clock to make this operation happen.

The overall voting figures are so low, that just that one gang can cause a huge shift in the eviction votes.

If they do put in enough number of votes to evict Halfwit, they are set to make over £1 million.

This is not a forgone conclusion which many people expect.

tongue in cheek

I have posted this reliable information previously and it has turned out to be correct.

It is reportedly the same middle eastern gang who fixed last year's final result.

I have a huge bet on a certain housemate to win.

I don't feel the need to bet on this eviction.

This is not the country I am talking about.

I said "Middle Eastern" gang, meaning people. These people are very shrewd, they make money out of illegal dealings and are corrupt.

Big Brother sources admitted that last year's result was probably flawed due to a huge number of bets coming in at the last minute for Rachel to win.

This same gang want Sree to survive and it would make them a huge lot of money.

This is not a decided result.

The gang are making their numeours calls as we speak, but whether Sree survives is another matter.

IF the gang make enough calls, then they will succeeed.

It is expected that the eviction result will be under 90%, despite most polls saying around that mark for Sree.

I do not want to bet on this, as it's still risky business.

The gang were succesful last year.

A Big Brother source told the media regarding last year's final: "It was a done deal and then in the space of five minutes it all changed.

“We think that some how these people discovered how many votes would be needed to see Rachel win.

“Mikey was favourite – anyone who bet on her would have got great odds.

“In the last few minutes there was a large move to back Rachel which led to people winning a lot of money.”

There is a huge conspiracy going on.

I'm not talking about the Middle East as a whole for goodness sakes!

It's certain individuals in this gang who I am referring to. When they want money, they get it.

It's very dogdy business. They were succesful in making Leon Jackson win the X Factor 2 years ago. He would have not won otherwise.

Still doesnt change the fact that they need 50k on at 20/1, which would be noticed. If you read the racing post they print out the bigs bets on races, and we are only talking about 1 or 2k normally. A bet that size on this would stick out and be investigated. The bookies won't want to lose £1 to fraud.

Yes but it was never proven. It was just another rumor that done the rounds.

Think about it : If huge numbers of votes are cast in a short space of time, all traced back to the same relatively small number of phones/areas ... it hardly takes a brain surgeon, even though we are talking about the Big Brother production team.

Corrupting voting lines is a huge business in the Middle East.

El Akhbar Janessai-Ul Huq was the clear favourite to win the Middle East's version of Pop Idol. He was winning every single week with at least 50% of the votes.

Then in the final week, the gang corrupted the vote.

In the end, Jalil Omah Sadeeen won with a huge 86% of the vote.

It was a huge shock. The Middle Eastern gang had raked it in. They do the same here.

There are strict laws in the Middle East, banning websites promoting commercial products.

A television show which features singers is such a case, and therefore cannot be reported on the Internet, or they will face charges of unlawful act.

The laws are very strict, therefore I'm afraid you won't see any info on those people at all.

It is a very strict law which is enforced upon Middle Eastern commercial bodies.

If it is broken, then not only charges can be given, but prison sentences.

The likelihood of such a law being breached is next to nothing, due to the harsh sentences.

This is the Middle East version of the 'Idol' franchise, of which Wikipedia seems to have plenty of detailed information for... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Star)

Neither of those two names are on google?!
There are strict laws in the Middle East, banning websites promoting commercial products.

A television show which features singers is such a case, and therefore cannot be reported on the Internet, or they will face charges of unlawful act.

The laws are very strict, therefore I'm afraid you won't see any info on those people at all.

So a pop-idol contest that no-one can know about......
It is a very strict law which is enforced upon Middle Eastern commercial bodies.

If it is broken, then not only charges can be given, but prison sentences.

The likelihood of such a law being breached is next to nothing, due to the harsh sentences.

But the TV signals can be picked up all over the world, and no-one has mentioned it. How do you even know about it, could your *ahem* 'source' just be winding you up?

Anyone take note of exchange rates?
It'd be pointless making £1,000,000. Relatively tiny in 'Middle Eastern' currency.
Actually, £1m is huge over there.

Ok, before I get into technicalities. Which country in particular, because oddly enough 'Middle East' isn't a country?
I have only been told "Middle Eastern" group.

What country this is, I am not too certain.

I will phone my contact imminently for more information. So bear with me

Don't you mean find a country with a good enough exchange rate?

The law is described here: http://www.arabtimesonline.com/client/pagesdetails.asp?nid=20303&ccid=9

It is against the Islamic faith to practice in gambling.

Voting for people on reality television contests is against this key fundamental Islamic rule, however the television broadcasting agenices have allowed to have public votes.

The big difference is that on the Internet, talk of these public votes and its contents within the show are banned. Therefore no website contains this information regarding that television show.

Which Middle Eastern Idol it is? I am not too sure.

I have ringing up my source as we speak for clarification.

i must say im finding it hard to believe that the "middle east" would be so strict on public voting lines. from personal experience working with these kinds of shows from what i know china has the strictest and most ott rules on public viewing and voting and im flying there tomorrow to start work on one of the biggest chinese talent shows around. surely if china is allowing it this mysterious middle eastern country would too

Either way, like one member has already said, Endemol can track and block huge block voting in a small time frame. It wont come into play, no matter who goes tonight.

Something to remember:

I have never once said Halfwit will go.

But that's the theory behind this block voting. Whether the gang are succesful or not is yet to be seen.
