A major fire has broken out in a tower block in south-east London and there are unconfirmed reports that up to 30 people are trapped.

More than 100 firefighters and 18 fire engines are battling the blaze which started on the 4th floor of the 12-storey building in Havil Street, Camberwell.

A fire brigade spokesman said seven floors are on fire.
