The simple fact is that Marcus is spot on with this issue.

The issue isn't exactly with him mocking his accent, because people do that with Freddie, Noirin and Charlie.
It's the fact it was coupled with the aggressive tone. It wasn't on, but not enough to cause a "controversy".

That had me in absolute hysterics, the way he was conveying it, calling everything BB said rubbish etc (but in harsher terms), it was very funny. He is absolutely right though, other housemates get imitated but the PC brigade were concerned because Sree was imitated. Oh dear.

I didn't actually see the clip where he said what he said, but I still think the point stands, because he didn't say anything racist, but he mimicked him in an aggressive tone - I would say it's the equivalent of making a borderline racist comment as part of a comedy act. It's not against the law, and I think it was a bit unnecessary of Big Brother to call him out on that, because he didn't do anything (legally) wrong.

No he didn't do anything legally wrong, but in terms of the BB house rules - I imagine he did. It was very aggressive the way he said it, and I think BB were right to call him up on it. However, I don't agree that it was racist, but it was offensive.

By that standard, so should everyone else in the house. Two wrongs DON'T make a right but Marcus did what needed to be done and he's absolutely right for calling out BB. Arguments occur no matter what but constant bullying shouldn't be tolerated regardless of race. It shows how big of a pussy BB really is when it comes to the race issue and how to deal with bullying as a whole. I find it fascinating now that their personalities have come out. Sree (I love the poster on here that calls him Scree ~ totally accurate :thumbs:) is a slimy, nasty little man whose respect in real life is going to go drastically down when he gets out tonight.
