Battlefield [6] is the second studio album by American Idol Season 6 winner, R&B and pop artist Jordin Sparks. It is due for release on July 20, 2009 in the UK and July 21 Worldwide through Jive/RCA, Zomba and Sony Music.[5]

On this album Sparks has worked with previous producers and hitmakers Stargate and Claude Kelly as well as experimenting with new sounds with successful songwriters and producers such as Ryan Tedder, Dr. Luke, Lucas Secon and T-Pain amongst others.

The first single is also called "Battlefield" and was released in North America on May 12, 2009 and May 18, in Europe Australia. It will be released as a CD single in July 2009.
