Thanks Ammi. They're a total study in contrast which is why it's cool that we have two of them. Peggy is on the surface too docile to even bother moving but then when you turn around she appears to be on the shop verandas outside our kitchen windows hightailing it over to the neighbors apartments. Time and time again you'll bring her back in and she'll hang off your arms with this "I didn't do nawtin to nowan" glare.

Pat has the nerve and sense of security of a serial crack addict and hides from everyone and everything, planning the day of cat rising. Until I go to bed and she comes and cuddles up next to me purring.

That's awful what happened to Jellybean [clearly the best name]. I wish her well :(.

Never seen anybody else say they have a cat allergic to fleas. One of my cats is also. Left his fur in a terrible way one summer. :(

Picture I took a few months back of one of my cats. Well, three are in the photo but the main cat in the picture, stealing the limelight, basically saying 'girl, look at that body'...

Weird name in Spider. But, when we got him and his brother from a cat rescue centre they had named him Spider as they say he was small and curled up looking like a spider... thinking about it now it makes zero sense. The name stuck, though.

Trademark of his is jumping onto your shoulders and kneading your back to pieces.

Carrot's a Bearded Collie, usually they look a bit like an Old English Sheepdog, but smaller, with less frizz to the fur and with a tail. I don't much like the full on bearded collie coat though. Gets matted unless you are prepared to spend several hours a day grooming them, and hides their shape, which is one of the things I love about them. Not to mention getting too hot when it's sunny. I usually let it grow to about half length for the winter.

He isn't as small as he looks on those pics. He's about 25 kilos, at 20 months with some filling out still to do. Not exactly a Dogue de Bordeaux, but not really a small dog either. Bit bigger and heavier set than a border collie.

....ooops sorry, I wasn't paying attention there...both my parents and my in law have mainly had rescue dogs and although some have had health issues, they've all had the loveliest of personalities..however many trips to the vet they've had to go through...I know though, losing a pet family member really is devastating..:hug:..he looks very happy and content in that pic though and that's all any pet would want...

He stayed with my niece, she has a 6yr old and I think it totally stressed him out :laugh:

She has rabbits too and I think they freaked him out a bit :)

aw yeah, if he isn't used to young kids they'd probably scare him :laugh: Pips stays with my father in law when we go away, he has a bichon frise called Dexter and the two of them get on so well, Pips has a great time when we go. Plus my father in Law lives on his own with Dexter so he's like his baby, spoiled rotten so Pips gets away with murder there

Here is Ghyll and Beck, they are my sisters dogs that i walk each morning 5 days a week and have done so since they were 3 months old. Ghyll (the black one) is 2yrs old and Beck is 3yrs old. Both are Patterdale Terriers and YES both are a handfull and trouble makers! :joker::joker::joker:

Yes the same breed Niamh. Beck the tri coloured one is the rare short haired type and Ghyll the black one is what people see as the main rough coat type for the breed. There always up to no good.:wavey:

The ears are the give away for this breed. Same ears etc. :joker:

How long have you had Prince Kaz? I'm sure he will settle in it just takes time. That video clip is an old clip of them but tbh they are the same. Always running around and playing. There happy dogs for sure. They keep me on my toes. lol :wavey:

Dogs remember who is cruel to them I think,our Teddy is scared stiff of hoovers,we later found out that as a pup the 'man' of the house used to torment him with the pipe,We've had Ted 10 years now and he still runs off to hide as soon as a hoover is switched on.

The dog in my avatar is Ruby, she's gorgeous:love:

But my god she's a stubborn, little bugger, and very persistent, we always joke that it's a good job she came to us as someone else would've found her a very difficult little dog.

She's a digger, she want's to chase anything that moves, she doesn't listen, she wants to do what she wants to do, she hates lead walks and only wants to be free on a park, she'd have made a great farm dog!

Oh and she has a super bark! (Just like Bolt!)

But she's gorgeous and we love her:love:

And if you took her on a park she would just whizz through the hedge, and there she'd be sitting on a rabbit hutch in someones garden, or swimming in someones pond, i was a nervous wreck with her!

I took her to training classes and the trainer tried to get her attention by shaking a tub of beads at her, it didn't work:laugh: the trainer just looked at me and said "good luck with her...":joker:
