i can imagine it being so awkward

the way he sighs when hes talking all the time and always talkin about his observations. its like he cant just chat about general stuff its all observations or about himself. hes so weird i would hate to have to be with him

i cant stand the way he talks, its so slow and does these heavy breadths.

i think talkin with him would be very awkward. if he is supposed to be so intelligent and observational, then why doesnt he realise why ppl vote him off cuz he acts like a twat

i'd love to be in his company, i think i'd get on really well with him. is it such a surprise some people want to talk about deeper things rather than who's going to get with who that week?

I'd love to be in Freddie's company.
I'd have some really intresting debates with him because he's got some good opinions.

he does realise that, he said so in the diary room when he was upset. just coz he realises it, doesn't mean he's gonna change, why should he? lots of people will love him for who he is.

I think someone would have to put me on suicide watch if I had to live with him.

I'd love to be in his company, and get his opinion on a bunch of things he never gets to chat about with the HMs. He is very intelligent, and sadly has been unable to show it having to live with people who never want to even try and connect with him (Siavash and Marcus not withstanding).

I agree.. I quite enjoy deep, observational chats.

I can imagine having philosophical debates with him.. that kind of thing is right up my alley :)

How do we know he doesn't talk about 'general stuff'? Remember we don't have live feed, we only have what Channel 4 allow us to see on the highlights.

Remember also that Freddie is probably used to talking about a lot of different things that the people in the house talk about. This means that common ground between him and everyone else is hard to come by and most of his conversations consist of him defending himself, attempting to get involved, attempting to understand. I suspect the intense analysis is an extension of the fact he probably took/has an interest in philosophy combined with the boring and lonely atmosphere he has in there.

yodofrodoi think talkin with him would be very awkward. if he is supposed to be so intelligent and observational, then why doesnt he realise why people vote him off cuz he acts like a t***
Could you be more specific? How does he act like a "t***"?

I feel abit for freddie, he comes from a completely different background to everyone in that house, can you imagine spending all you time being sent to school and summer camps, never having any love from family or parents during your young years and then going to university and being thrown into an environment that contains men and women, in his urgency and naivity to be seen as a singer (lol), he goes into BB, i acutally really feel for him, I was lucky to be common, go to school and come home to a family and go out all the time with mates, can you imagine not ever having that freedom, I can see the sadness in his eyes by the rejection of the other housemates because they cant relate to him, and most probably if I met him I know I wouldnt relate to him either, how hard is that, I respect the face that he looks people in the eye when he speaks to them, he says how he sees and feels it, I think he is tops

I wouldn't mind Freddie one bit. Having worked in a mental health hospital for 2 years some time ago i could easily cope with Freddie, he has extremely mild irritations compared to what i have seen and heard. But then over the years i have learnt patience and this is the key.

I would rather befirend a lovely, wouldn't harm a fly person than an aggressive, arrogant a*sehole who thinks Freddie isn't worthy of being in the same room as them.

lol marzy was you my nurse last year pmsl... with that said, I think they BB should have put up all in the house this week, I really think you can see the sadness in his eyes, can you imagine being rejected by your parents by being sent away to private school, most probably summer camps etc in the holidays and then you go on BB and get rejected again, I think thats why he has coping better than most with the rejection he is being subjected to bless him, I have such a growing respect for his attitude and behaviour

My eyes are getting wet reading this post. I love Freddie so much and just wish they would send someone in the house that has the maturity and intellect to communicate properly. Freddie is well-sage for all types of fun interaction and conversation. I'd have a blast and be laughing with him all the time..

We all know Freddie is full of life and likes to pass the love around. Freddies full potential has yet to be seen.

He has been dragged down these last few weeks by Karly, Kris, Lisa and Charlie who have victimized, intimidated and who totally refuse to accept him for what and who he is.

Some of the life has been sucked out of him and instead of enjoying his time in the house it has made him slightly paranoid and emotional. I think at times he really doesn't know how to be, or how to act, he is so confused as to what to do to make life more tolerable in the house.

If Karly and Kris or Kris and Lisa were to leave we would start seeing the more fun Freddie again.

I would love to have a conversation with Freddie, especially about religion and Evolution.
I think Freddie would and does have great insght on those subjects, plus a great many more..

It's a pity some of the housemates just want to talk about celebrities and superficial subjects...Now that would really bore the pants off me.

Nice post ... ahh. I clicked on this thread to say it would drive me mad to live with Freddie, but I haven't got the heart now.

moonballoon, sorry I just feel for people, I am a bit soft that way lol, he would drive me mad living with him 24 hours a day most probably, but I can just see he strength that he has for standing up to that constant rejection, I wouldnt be able to if I was him I would have left the house a long time ago, its funny we can tolerate people from different nationalities but find it hard to understand someone who has had the hard life of public school life and speak the Queens English, I suppose they are perceived as coming from a very lucky background, but I could not function without the love and influence of male and female people in my life on a dialy basis, the freedom to go out an do what I wanted etc, he was not so lucky bless him and he is alienated for it
