& bumped into some old friends whilst I was there.

We got chatting and I said "What do you think of BB?" (assuming they have been watching it seeing as they were avid fans when I last saw them in school).

Their reply - ":shocked: WHEN DID THAT START? Friday!?"

They had no idea that BB had been on at all.

Was the advertising really THAT bad?! :sad:

Hardly any advertising this year and what there was wasn`t very good. Same as the Lucozade they`re awful and unless you knew you wouldn`t associate them with BB

Word of mouth is a very important marketing strategy, but people weren't too bothered about BB this year. This is probably why your friends didn't know it was on.

The whole of BB this year seems a bit low key.Probably to do with C4's lack of money at the moment.

It's not low key enough as far as I'm concerned. Once it loses any aura of tabloid celebrity it will be better viewing.
