HOUSEMATES fear glamour girl Sophie Reade is losing her looks after it became clear her hair is falling out.
A shocked Lisa Wallace found one of the 20-year-old's hair extensions lying on her foot today - prompting housemates to crowd around Sophie to inspect her scalp.

They soon realised it was not just the Cheshire model's extensions that were coming free - her own hair was falling out too.

"You're pulling out your hair extensions and the hair's coming with it!" Noirin Kelly told her. "You're gonna go bald. You're balding."

"You're scalp's terrible," Lisa chipped in.

Trying to calm Sophie, Kris promised they would get her hair sorted out.

And Charlie Drummond warned her to stop backcombing her mane or risk damaging it further.

"You've still got a pretty face - that's all that matters," Noirin told her. "If you want to take your extensions out I'll do it as well."

I call it karma. Freddie wins, again!

P.S. The picture on the link says it all!

her hair looks like complete ****
a scraggy blonde mess that needs a good wash with conditioner aswell.
she needs to just shave it all off then let it grow back,
her and lisa could be baldy budddies.

Women who dye their hair often, beware. Especially peroxide blonde, and especially straightening it as often as she must.

wow, seems like she's got really fine (thin) hair. Damaged from wearing hair extensions all the time & bleaching, or born that way, hence the extensions.

Either way, hair extensions and BB dont go together. Weeks of not having the proper care for the hair makes it look all raggedy.

WOW why the hardcore bitchin on Sophie? Did I miss something? Or is this just cos she doesn't like Freddie? I feel bad for anyone who loses their hair, especially someone who isn't evil. it must be so gutting.

To be fair, she knew the effects of backcombing, excessive straightening, bleaching, and leaving extensions in untreated.

poor sophie, she's a nice girl shame she's had to ruin herself :(

I wonder what her hair was like before the extensions. I think she should get them removed when she gets out and she should cut her hair to shoulder length, I think it would look loads nicer than it does now!

Some people here are really harsh , she's a nice enough 20 year old girl. No way she deserves that just because she doesn't get on with Freddie, who lets be honest, most probably would get annoyed with him if they were in the house

Sophie has asked Freddie manipulative questions infront of Team Nasty on 3 separate occasions now.

For someone who is only twenty, this is terrible. Her hair looks like it belongs to someone triple her age. This is what straightening, bleaching and back-combing does to it. It makes the hair very dry and scraggly and this must be an extreme case if her hair is actually falling out.

However, I don't feel sorry for her. This is what happens when you're careless and don't look after yourself. God knows what her skin will look like after years and years of tanning. :yuk:

Why? It's terrible unhealthy.

In one of the HL shows, she had it back-combed and was using about half a can of hair spray. It's not normal to have to use that much on it.

Instead of combing your hair the normal way (downwards/outwards), you comb it the opposite way, so the hair sort up matts up, giving it more volume.

Ahhh, I see.

God its much easier being scruffy. I got my hair cut in March, the previous time was July 2007 (sisters wedding, so its not like I make note of the date), get it shaved off every two years and then let it grow. It grows slowly, so its okay. Well apart from the grey streaks.

Thanks Enid.

I have quite long hair but I never ever brush it other than when I have just washed it. I dye my hair every four or five months and I apply lots of heat protection so it doesn't get damaged in the sun. I like to think I have healthy hair.

My sister's hair (she's five years younger) is nearly as bad as Sophie's. She just recently bleached it three times over the course of two days. :bored:

I dont brush or comb either, it just seems to fall into place (admittedly being scruffy its not hard to fall into place).

What is heat protection? I am hoping its something that helps block out any references or adverts to the magazine

Lol. It's a spray or mousse you apply to your hair just after washing it to protect it from heated styling equipment, such as hair dryers or straighteners and also UV.

We don't HAVE to do it. Generally, I suppose we take more pride in our appearance than guys do. Some of us take too much pride (vanity) and end up looking like Sophie.

I bleached my hair for years (since I was 15 ) and you really ruin it, no matter how hard you try looking after it. And it does become really thin and can start falling out as well. Poor Sophie, and her boobs! Seriously, they can not be good for her tiny body:shrug:
