(Four new housemates will join Big Brother next week, reports suggest.

They will enter the house during the show's birthday celebrations on July 17, according to the Daily Star.

Charlie, Freddie, Kris, Marcus and Sophie are currently facing eviction on Friday. One source told the newspaper: "If Kris goes, that leaves Sophie on her own and if a hunky new man comes along we could have a new romance."

The insider added: "Noirin has also been begging for some real men to come in, too. This could really help boost the ratings.)

4 new housemates WON'T boost the ratings. No one gives a shiit anymore. I don't even think MJ's ghost being 'spotted' in the house would draw people in to watch Big Brother.

i think 4 is great, 2 would be quite boring and wouldn't feel secure, i think the new 4 should all have something in common, like their a bunch of rich kids that don't play politics, just so its familiarity so they can form their own group n knock team nast of the perch.

The last 2 highlights shows have been quite bad and now a lot of the bigger character have gone there needs to be some fresh housemates in there
I would usually be against so many new housemates going in but I think they are need to sustain the quality which BB10 has produced so far

I do think they have left it to late to see any sudden surge in ratings. The only thing they can do now is try and keep the viewers they have and keep them happy. I think it's too late to add new housemates into the house - but if they brought back ex-HM that public already know, it could be interesting.
