lost my little doggy :(

my dog sam was put down yesterday wih blood on his lungs i live in newcastle and my family live in scotland so ever got to see him :(

my mum gets his ashes back a week wednesday and i a at college all week then they are on hol then im at sea so wont get to scatter his ashes till november or summit.

i cryed when my mum phoned me in tears, i know ppl think thats sad but was like one of th family :(

It's horrible, I know. I used to have a dog called Sam who had to be put down too. It's always a horrible thing to go through.

i am glad in a way that he didnt suffer and i the last time i seen him he was how i will always remember him which is happy and a funny lil thing, also glad it happened now as my family are goin on holiday and if something like that happened when they were away i know it would kill them, thanks for everyones comments

Your dog was lovely :sad: I'm very sorry for the lost, I understand the feeling. At least it died in a peaceful way. My first dog got ran over and it was horrible to see her bleeding with her head basically gone *shivers* :sad:

i never understand why people love their pets like their children.
i have a dog and while i love him i dont go ott like a lot of people i absolutey loathe cats and would knock 1 down if i could.

i lost my beloved german shepherd 18 months ago. its was heartbreaking.
they become so much part of your life. i still miss him. :(

hope your ok. its very hard to deal with. some people have no understanding the felling of loss when our pets pass on.
